I know it was in The Mirror (so its probably b******s) but they are reporting Toseland and Crutchlow are to be Yamaha's WSBK line up for next year. Not sure how thats going to work Toseland wants to stay in MotoGP (although as we know his options are fast running out) and Crutchlow wants to go to Moto 2.A line up of 2 highly rated Brits but neither of them really want to be there, should be interesting !.

Max Biaggi has insisted there are no hard feelings between him and Simoncelli. In theory Simoncelli should have never been able to catch him seeing as he never even ridden a superbike before the end of last week. It's not like Biaggi has ever had is a** kicked by a young fellow Italian before though is it ! :)

Yeah, can't see Biaggi wanting to see Simoncelli on the other side of his garage ever again !.I am a little bit disappointed that he is not going to be a permanent fixture in the series,he is a total nutter !.But considering he hadn't even seen the bike before the end of last week I thought he did a mega job.His move on Biaggi was a little 'firm' but he wasn't scared of having a go was he ?.I think the guy is ace, should be interesting to see how he gets on in MotoGP next year.Regarding Aprilia, latest rumours suggest Troy Bayliss could be making a shock return to this series and with no Ducati seats available it looks like he may go there ?.Hope its true,I'm a big Bayliss fan.

Rea's fall in race 1 was a little bit silly but like Simoncelli,Jonny always seems prepared to have a go.That's what racing is all about IMO,he has made a couple of slightly unnecessary mistakes but I prefer to see these young guys giving it everything and not be frightened to race the big boys.Rea will have learnt a lot this season,I expect him to be title contender next year.Overall he has had an excellent debut year.

Camier has done an amazing job this year, its not his fault no one could catch him !.He has totally dominated the BSB and is a very worthy champion IMO.Looking forward to seeing him in WSBK next year.

Stoner is apparently back in action next weekend, great news I've missed him.Hopefully he can mix it up at the front with Rossi,Lorenzo & Pedrosa & Co. this weekend, should be good.

Join us Chris, you know you want to ! :D

That's a good clip to start Chris off Pete!

It might sound a bit sad, but when I watch repeats I'm still amazed at that race!

@Chris - Give it a go - before long you wont even remember what cars are......

...and Chris! I'm sure he'll stay now. Besides Warhunt likes getting email so you best apply anyway!

Weekends racing was good though - Don't think Biaggi is going to be wanting Simoncelli riding with him again though!

Rea didn't have the best weekend either, he seemed to forget a few corners, though I guess he has been doing well and is after a better championship finish.

Nice to see Shakey in the Mix at the end of race two too.

Credit to Camier on the title, finishing Race two in 2nd after the bad start wasn't bad either!

I don't go in for the lack of competition in the series for his domination, he was impressive in WSB as a wildcard. Though perhaps he would have been harder pushed if guintoli hadn't been re-growing his leg for most of the season!

Have a look at this Chris, this is what your missing out on.This kind of racing has been much more exciting than F1 for years IMO.There is much more fierce racing in the MotoGP and Superbike classes than you currently see in modern day F1.Did you see the F1 race at Singapore today ?,it was boring as hell.If you catch it on one Sunday afternoon give it a try,you might actually like it ?.

And yeah,a Ducati is a bike ! :)

I have to say, i not a racing fan. When i do rarely watch races, it's usually Formula one, but bikes, i think i've only ever watched one race. Here's my bike knowledge; i know a Ducati is a type of bike ;D

Chris, you are very welcome to join us on here mate.Next race is Portugal, next Sunday. It's a fast, flowing track with a dead stop hairpin right at the end of it.This season has been immense so far.The race will be shown on BBC 2 about 1 pm if you fancy it.I have managed to get my parents and my best mate hooked on the series, even the Mrs. has started watching it recently !.

I was going to apply to moderate this thread but I would basically be moderating Numnut ! :D

Can't see Simoncelli agreeing to do it if he was all he was going
to do was chug about at the back.Reckon he will really go for it
,whether he stays manages to stay on the damn thing for 2 whole races is another matter !.

Ha !,what did I say ?.Running in a mega impressive 5th before binning it in Race 1 then comes back for a podium in Race 2.Still a massively impressive job IMO as a 250cc GP bike is a million miles away from a superbike. To pretty much jump on the thing with hardly any testing and finish 3rd is amazing.Nothing that guy does is ever boring,he reminds me very much of young Rossi.Looking forward to seeing him in MotoGP next year,

Leon Camier has bagged his well deserved BSB title, hardly a surprise but a massive achievement nonetheless.Watching his horrific crash at Cadwell Park a couple of years ago I doubted he would even manage to return to the sport.Looked good at the end of last year and this year no one seen which way he went. He's done an absolutely awesome job.Should be interesting seeing how it gets on in WSBK next year.

Still on WSBK reports seem to circulating that Stiggy Motorsport will not be on the grid next season due to money problems. This would be a massive shame if its true as the team in its debut season (and particularly Leon Haslam) have done a mega job in this year.Even if they are not there, reckon Haslam will be picked up as he's punched well above his weight this year.

World Supersport race was a disaster for Cal Crutchlow though. He fell off and has reduced his lead to Laverty in the championship to a mere 2 points. He has totally dominated this category this year but this is the 2nd time he's done this recently. He can't give anymore presents like this away or he will pay for it big time.Being faster than everyone else won't guarantee him the title,he can't afford anymore mistakes.

Just watched the F1 as well,my god it was boring. Can't believe its still so popular,it was like follow my leader !.

Marco Simoncelli qualified 8th at Imola ahead of a fair few people who should be doing a little better!

Qualifying results Here

Jonny Rea hasn't done too bad either in third. Should be a good old race tomorrow then......

Johnny Rea just signed 2 year extension to his Ten Kate Honda contract.Good news, reckon he could be a title contender if his impressive debut season in WSBK is anything to go by.
