I don't hate F1 but I just think this year it has been really boring.Recorded yesterdays race and watched most of it on fast forward.Think Button overtook someone ? (TBH can't even remember who it was) and one bloke binned it in 130R and that was about it in a 90 minute race.I'm sure it won't stay like this forever but at the moment it seems like these cars are unable to run nose to tail and change positions in anything like the way bikes can.Probably mostly down to aerodynamics ?.Sure it can be fixed in time as Champ Car racing (as it was) a few years ago used to be great. Those cars had loads of mechanical grip, bags of power and not so much focus on aerodynamics.I reckon F1 probably needs to go down a similar road. But there is no doubt that the racing in the MotoGP classes and WSBK (which is another fantastic series IMO) is currently in another world to that of modern day Grand Prix racing.
i thought lorenzos outfit was good, blacking out part of the helmet to make the astronaut style visor was a great touch
to sonic chris
personally i love f1 and am not a fan of motorbikes, never been interested in riding one but i would definatley recommend the motogp although it has to be on eurosport for toby and julian
have also started watching the 125 race as well which was good (bradley should of won that)
Spies is going to ride as a wildcard at the last race in Valencia, should be interesting.Aoyama is moving up to MotoGP on a satellite Honda next year.Well deserved IMO.
Right off to work on this house now,its sucking up my life (and cash) at the moment.
Clarkson may be right on caravans but he's way off on bikes ! :D
I still love me cars :)
I can see your point Chris.I do secretly fancy the sound of a series where most of the position changes occur only in pit stops.Add to that a seemingly endless supply of farcical off track drama's,the likes of which Eastenders would be proud of and drivers stupid enough to crash on order just to let their team mates win.Sounds amazing, where do I sign up ? :P
Back to 'real' racing news Vermuelen is reported to have agreed a 2 year deal with Paul Bird's Kawasaki WSBK team. Its a bright green bike designed by a bloke called Ichiro Yoda, you couldn't make it up !.Anyway excellent news for the series which is looking like being the best in years next season.
Regarding the Crutchlow situation,he was desperate to go to Moto 2 next year as everyone already knew, but apparently as he was already a signed and committed Yamaha factory rider for 2010 they vetoed it.He is rumoured to have the possibility to jump straight to MotoGP with Tech 3 in 2011,all he has to do to make that happen is have a debut WSBK season like Spies had. That's a tall order for anyone, should be very interesting to watch.
Chris,come to the dark side ! :)
Agree, was probably JT's best all round option,I expect Crutchlow to surprise a lot of people next year on that bike as well. With Camier on his way to the series and Rea,(and presume Shaky,Haslam & Sykes ?) all there it should be a great championship for the Brits.Looking forward to it already.

Not sure what to believe with this one, seems like it's a different story every day. I don't think we're gonna have to wait too long to find out. Maybe I'm being optimistic but for some reason I'm expecting an announcement at Estoril......I bet I'm proved wrong.
It's not like Biaggi has ever had is (edit:) backside (Warhunt is offended by everything! Motomoto suggests this is due to a girly hair issue!)
> kicked by a young fellow Italian before though is it ! :)
True! He is always portrayed as a really cross, fiery kind of guy so I bet his after race comments came with a bit more than a pinch of salt!
MCN are reporting that Stoner will definitely be back for estoril. Really looking forward to it, hopefully the guy is fully recovered and will put in a good performance...I'm really starting to like Ducatis for some strange reason...bad news for Hayden though, he wont be top rider anymore!
