Rossi came home 4th,right on Lorenzo's tail.Pretty impressive really as he had crashed 3 times over the course of the weekend and he is still far from fully fit.I did laugh when Stoner got interviewed after he crashed out though,he basically blamed the other riders for going so fast !?! :S

Chris, take it you were happy with yesterdays result ?.Not a bad race and great to see Spies right up there, expecting big things from him on that factory Yamaha next year. With Lorenzo and the new factory Honda and Ducati line up reckon 2011 should be a classic.

Took Pedrosa to the championship in the new Moto GP iPhone game yesterday and won! :D

Great game, very Arcady though, don't expect a simulation. But has all the top teams and tracks and nice graphics.

I'm going away in a couple of days and will unfortunately miss the most important date in this years motorsport calendar.Apart from the obvious Rossi to Ducati,Spies to factory Yamaha confirmation on Sunday evening this glorious thread will be celebrating its first birthday while I'm away. How fast has that gone ?

Just finished watching BSB races from Brands Hatch, good stuff.Fantastic job by Tom Sykes in his guest return to the series.Suppose it just goes to show how much harder the World Superbike championship is than the domestic series at the moment ?.Surely those performances must have secured him a job for next season ?,he was brilliant today.Lets not forget only a couple of years ago Kiyo smoked the entire WSBK field twice in one afternoon around the very same circuit, yet hard as he tried he did not seem to have an answer for Sykes today.Kawasaki have a whole new bike for next year and it would be a crime if Sykes was not on it IMO.

I'm guessing Pirelli reverting back to the 'old' tyre (Biaggi was one of the few who preferred the new one) and cooler track temperatures which I reckon may have stopped the R1's from eating up their tyres during the race (which they have done quite a few times this year).

Yeah, Crash.net ran a story on this last week. They reckon Kawasaki are after Haga for next year and the seat will go to him,Lascorz or Sykes ?.Personally I think Sykes has been by far the best Kawasaki rider this year and it would be really unfair if he was to lose his seat for 2011.Saying that Haga has been generally very disappointing this year so not sure why Kawasaki would feel the need to ditch Sykes for him TBH ?.Saying all that Vermuelen has been far from impressive this year and yet apparently his job is safe ? :S

Yeah, really enjoyed it too - good to see two brits fighting at the front, and good for Camier to get on the podium too.

Biaggi looked quite tentative on the bike this weekend, he's been smooth as anything up til now so don't know what changed.

I think it's quite likely that Crutchlow will go to GP next year, though it doesn't look so rosy for Tom Sykes, by all accounts Vermeulen is on a 2 year deal, and Kawasaki has promised Joan Lascorz a superbike ride next season........

I didn't sadly, although I did catch the last 30 laps of Formula One. Schumacher blocked off Barrichello down the final straight, almost forcing Rubens into the wall. Everyone was in uproar and saying Schumacher should've let him pass, which seems to go against the grain of racing... Anyway, he got penalised for it in the end. Has officially turned me to bikes (although I still love Top Gear and the cars on there :D)
