Leon Haslam has been released from his Suzuki WSBK contract for next year,presume to join BMW ?.Apparently Suzuki wouldn't give the Alstare team a solid answer regarding factory support for 2011 so it looks like Haslam's got fed up of waiting and left ?.First Suzuki had Ben Spies and sent him packing to Yamaha,now Haslam appears to have been forced to follow a similar path ? :S

Exciting last laps to both the first WSBK and WSS race today.Haslam had to go for it didn't he ?,shame it didn't work but he's still had a mega season.Biaggi is a worthy champion but what the hell had he been smoking before the first race ?,he was all over the place !.Can't recall ever seeing him ride like that in any class.Camier has been retained for Aprilia for 2011 with Haga joining a satellite Aprilia outfit with full factory support.Nice ride by Crutchlow in race 2 and a couple of very solid efforts by Tom Sykes.Haven't had chance to catch the BSB yet,will try and watch it sometime during the week.

The fights don't look much, the main aim is to try and get the other guy down into a 'shell', and the ref's stop it, and you win the fight. It's supposed to get the fans riled up and getting behind the team. But they are fighting on ice, it's difficult have a full blown fist fight. But you just need to know which ones to look for. One fight lasted one punch, the guy just knocked him out stone cold. Best part are the 'hits' (ie. slamming other players into the side glass).

Oooh,sounds lovely !.I did have a quick look on You Tube expecting to see some hardcore UFC style action on skates but all I could find were some big padded dudes hugging each other ?.Maybe it was after the fight and they were making up and were all friends again ? :)

Oooo I wouldn't let any of the NHL Tough Guys (yes that's their actual name) hear you say that. One video I saw, a guy got his throat cut by the blade on another guys boot while flying through the air.

They give penalty's for fighting ?..............sounds like a girls sport to me ?!?.Surely fighting should be rewarded in any 'mans' sport ! :D


TBH its usually more like handbags at dawn when riders publicly fall out but that response just didn't seem to have the same effect !.

Although I do remember some fighting in a gravel trap a couple of years ago (think it was Simoncelli with either Barbera or Bautista ?),anyway as I recall it was quite entertaining ! :)

GP was great yesterday.Brilliant rides by Spies & Hayden,really enjoyed watching them both.Rossi has stated that he may have to miss the last few races to have surgery on his damaged shoulder.Makes sense I suppose as he is surely concentrating on next year now.It's either that or he is trying to force Yamaha's hand into letting him test the Ducati at Valencia after the final round ?.But after seeing how well the red monsters went yesterday Yamaha maybe having to think very hard about that decision ?.

125 race yesterday was epic,did you see Pol Espargaro's pass for the lead on the last lap ?.One of the very best I have seen in any class all season.It was was like....what's he doing ?,well that's never going to work ?,..............Oh wow !.Apparently Dovi tried to do replicate it on Spies in the GP race and eat the dirt !.Shame non of the camera's picked it up :(

Rumours circulating that F1 commentator Jonathon Legard is to be dropped and replaced for next year with BBC MotoGP commentator Charlie Cox.I really hope this is true as I have had more than enough of listening to that babbling idiot on BBC's MotoGP coverage,F1 would be more than welcome to him !.While their at it they can get rid of that women who replaced Suzi Perry,she's useless.If this doesn't happen might have to think about getting SKY for next year so I can watch it on Eurosport.

Kawasaki have had Tom Sykes testing next years bike at Valencia last week and he's been flying on it.He says the bike has huge potential.Hopefully a good sign he is going to be retained for 2011 ?.But with Ducati pulling out of WSBK at the end of the season I can't believe that both Haga & Fabrizio haven't been showing their faces around other teams in the paddock.

Yeah,it is really going to suck if this system denies the rightful winner his title.Also in that scenario the guy who is crowned champion is surely going to feel that he doesn't really deserve it ?.Suppose it's all about spicing up the show for TV ?.Shame the organisers of BSB think bike racing fans want to be treated like X Factor viewers :(
