Man,that would suck if I won by default. Can your good lady not change Pedrosa for another rider in the transfer window or is that all finished now ?.

Nah, I was only joking.......I think the transfer windows are all done for this year (end of the racing season, not good), so it's down to the BSB and WSB riders to get as many points as possible.

Crutchlow on pole but Toseland only 15th on the same bike. That's not going to do his employment prospects much good with that :(

No, I've not heard any more about BMW's 3 man team next year either, and I'm sure the Ten Kate team (his other option) are losing Hanspree as their title sponsor, so funding for two big riders isn't going to be so readily available. Maybe JT can do BSB or superstock, though I think if he's off the World stage he might just retire!

Quite amazed Jonny Rea is out riding this weekend, considering the injuries he picked up last week. Crazy.

Looks like it! Good on him though, especially considering the situation with him and Honda at the moment - I think he's trying to make a point!

Nice to see Colin Edwards up near the front again too.

Now that Pedrosa is injured I think there will be a bit of competiton for first place in the Freeola Gp Championship - you've got enough races left to get to the top Pete! - Though if you beat Mrs Numnut you may find yourself disqualified!

Yeah, watched it before, ouch !,this picture shows the accident from a different angle and it looks like a very hard fall indeed.Apparently Honda have admitted the crash was due to a stuck throttle,so it wasn't an error on Pedrosa's part.Haven't heard of that happening on a factory GP bike in a very long time, not sure what's gone on there ?.Anyway, looks like his collar bone is broken in 3 places so he's probably out for the rest of the year.Shame for us as well as Pedrosa was on a real roll and was the only guy who could possibly have denied Lorenzo the title.Don't get me wrong,I think Lorenzo thoroughly deserves it,he's been outstanding this year. It's just a shame to see the championship decided in this way.

Pedrosa has snapped his collar bone ruling him out for maybe three races, which means Lorenzo is the MotoGP champion this year.

He's ridden well there's no doubt about that, but his main rivals haven't really had full seasons so I think he;ll get more credit when he wins his next title - which I'm sure he will.

As I understand it (which is at the wrong end of the stick usually) Ducati will be providing 'factory' assistance to the teams running 1098s next year. I think it will be as if they are still there, just not in a team called 'Ducati Corse'. Might be wrong though.

I think your spot on there mate, earlier this year Checa answered ''It's the just the colours really'' when he was asked what is the difference between his bike and the works Ducati machines,be interested to know if Shakey's bike was the same ?.

Imagine the bragging rights that Iannone now has. The GOAT picked him out of every other rider. I guess that's a bit of a sink or swim moment. I'd imagine that living up the Rossis expectations is going to be quite hard!

Yeah,Imagine if Ianonne would have had Rossi as a team boss when he jumped the start (by about a fortnight !) the other week. Can't see Rossi putting up with silly errors like that.Remember when Scott Redding started to reel him in 125's at Donington a couple of years ago and Iannone chucked it down the craner curves ?.Saying that there have been times in Moto2 this year that Ianonne has hit the front and simply cleared off,so there's no doubt the guy is very fast.

That's why I've got Sky +!!!

Can't afford that at the moment :(

I'm starting to wonder just how 'out of the sport' Ducati are going to be next year ?.There still seems to be a fair few teams intending to run 1098's in 2011,perhaps they have been promised a little extra help due to factory team being no more ?.

Rossi is starting his own Moto 2 team to run next year with fellow Italian Andrea Iannone confirmed as one of his riders. That guy is mega quick but at times a little bit inconsistent.I'm sure with The Doctor's tuition he can be a genuine title challenger next season.Should be interesting.

Yeah agree mate.I'm glad Haga's going to be around for a little while longer as well.I reckon he should go pretty well on the Aprilia.

Haslam now confirmed at BMW alongside Troy Corser. At least that leaves a spare seat at Suzuki.Tom Sykes was brilliant on that bike in the BSB a few years ago so reckon he may end up there if Kawasaki are unable to offer him a ride for next year (although that would really suck as he has well earned that IMO).Not sure where JT is going to end up ?,return to Ten Kate Honda perhaps ?,or maybe BMW could run a third bike or give factory support to a satellite team ?.Other manufacturers are doing just that. Also I'm starting to wonder just how 'out of the sport' Ducati are going to be next year ?.There still seems to be a fair few teams intending to run 1098's in 2011,perhaps they have been promised a little extra help due to the factory team being no more ?.

Wow, lots has been going on over the last day.

WSB races were great, disappointing for Haslam in race 2, but in race one I was shouting at the TV - he really had to go for it - at least you know how hard he was trying, but with the class of riders in WSB this year 2nd isn't bad at all!

You're right, Biaggi is a worthy champion, I'm sure he's had at least 8 double wins this year which is impressive in itself.

Good of Alstare to let Haslam go really, but a shame they had to. Maybe the three man BMW squad is on for next year then (corser, jt, haslam).

Good for Haga aswell, lots of people were putting money on retirement for him at the end of this year.

Wont say anything about BSB yet ....
