Brookes would have been lynched , and then deported!
To be fair to him, Brookes has had a good season, and not caused any trouble, I was pretty convinced he was going to win the title this yeat tbh.
Totally agree,he's been very good this year.
Kiyonari rode brilliantly this weekend, completely controlled and pretty much untouchable. I'm sure you were happy that the new system didn't interfere with him winning, I'd hate to read the rant about that!
Nah,I wouldn't have ranted. It's wouldn't have been Kiyo's fault the new scoring system sucked !.Glad it didn't interfere with the end result but hope they bin it off for next year though.Kiyo totally returned to the top of his game when it really mattered and is a very worthy champion IMO.
I think the Ellison, Hill crash was a bit 50/50 really, I know Hill had the inside line and lost the front a bit, but Ellison was coming from round the outside.....nah nevermind, it was good racing!
My mate was at Lodge corner yesterday and reckoned Hill would have gone one straight on even if Ellison had not have been there. Can't blame Hill for trying I suppose but I really wanted him to win the championship and it was a shame to see his title charge end in this way.Still,he's had a really good season and to finish 3rd in the standings is hardly a disaster is it ?.
GP was good too, Lorenzo deserved the title on his performances this year, but I still expect it to be his last for a few years. I think Ducati has the italian government helping with their budget next year, and Rossi isn't going to want to lose on a new bike, afterall he won first year on a honda, and first year on the yam so he'll be expecting to do the same this time.
Italian ''Government'' help ?,that sounds ominous.Be interesting to see if Lin Jarvis or Livio Suppo wake up next to a horses head next year ! :)
Good to see Rossi win, but also good to see some fighting at the back - I don't want to think about how much Aoyama's arm is hurting after having a bike go in it!
All good fun though.......[/i]
Absolutely,only 3 GP's left this year though :(
Congratulations to Kiyo on his 3rd BSB title, have to say he totally deserved it.He would have won it under the old scoring system anyway and sadly Tommy Hill's disastrous race 2 pretty much killed any chance he had of winning the title. It seemed a pretty desperate move to me and not one I would have expected from him TBH.I wonder what the reaction would have been if it had been Brookes who had done that ?.

Probably,if there were more people like him in F1 then I might actually watch it,he's a wildman !.

Really disappointing that the seasons are drawing to a close, but I guess BSB at Cadwell in the Jan/Feb frost would be a little too mad.......imagine landing off the mountain on an icy track!
I'm sure Brookes would give it a go !
Italian site GPOne are reporting that Biaggi may retire and not return next year to defend his title ?.Be interesting to see if Biaggi does bail, who would Aprilia get to fill his seat this late in the silly season ?.Could be very good news for Camier though.
Guintoli has signed for satellite Ducati team (same team as Smrz) after Fabrizio nicked his Suzuki ride.
WSB was great, both races (considering the championship is all done) had me on the edge of the seat. I'd agree that Guintoli was hard done by, I don't see what gain was made - even though he went 'through' the corner he joined the race in the same position he was in before he went off track.
I thought the rule was that you have to give back any places gained and he did. Strange.
Good watching the Ducatis battle at the start of race 2 as well, nice that one got on the podium as it's their last race.
GP was equally as good, and I'm glad Rossi put Lorenzo in his place - Lorenzo was interviewed after and said he though Rossi was a bit unfair in places........The only times I saw them bash fairings was when Lorenzo ignored the fact that Rossi was inside him and tried to turn in to him anyway. It's almost as bad as Stoner moaning that the other riders started the race too fast a few months ago!

Looks like Fabrizio has nicked Guintoli's ride at Suzuki as they are only going to run one bike next year.Hopefully his gutsy performances yesterday got noticed by someone.
