Official team statements made this morning seem to indicate there will soon be an influx of red T-Shirts & caps on eBay.
Yep, at least people can just dust off the old yamaha ones though!
Good news for the series, and for Rossi - with Stoner going, there needs to be someone else to change Lorenzo at the front, and I don't think Pedrosa will be able to all the time.
Brave move for Rossi though, if he does well, the desmo is confirmed as awful and Rossi had nothing to do with it. If he's awful on the Yam then probably time for Rossi to switch to rallying!
If it's true about the WSB switch in a couple of years, then I wonder if biaggi will hold off on retiring so he can fight with Rossi?
Where to for Cal, and Dovi now then?
My mate sent me this earlier today. Worth a watch if you get the chance as I doubt you will have seen anything quite like it..............ever!
Word of warning though there is quite a lot of swearing in it so probably best not watch it at work.
Yeah, think we all know the 'underperforming' thing was just a smoke screen, it's just that it was a particularly rubbish and made look Effenbert look like total idiots kind of smoke screen!
Yeah, read about the Rea rumours (apparently HRC love him as much we do!) but think if Bautista is not retained he may have some serious competition from Iannone (if he does not make up part of the Ducati junior team) and Dovi (if he does not carry out his threat to jump to WSB if he cannot get a factory GP ride) for that bike. Scott Redding on the other hand currently looks like a real possibility for one if those Ducati junior jobs.
And then of course there's Cal who's surely in with a shout of the factory Ducati ride if (or when as it looking like) Rossi vacates it.
Next year is looking more awesome by the day, just need to get some more bikes out there. Colin Edwards idea of leasing out this years prototypes seemed to make a lot of sense to me. Doubt it will happen though :(

You might as well give me the championship title now...
Well WSB was certainly eventful!
Gutsy ride by Sam Lowes in WSS, think he has surprised a lot of people this year.
I only caught the last few laps of WSS as I had a problem with the recording on the sky box (apparently they don't realise you turned them off at the mains by accident and carry on recording!).
It was a good battle with Cluzel though - The supersport classes (and Moto2) seem to be a lot better than the bigger classes at the moment.
As for Guintoli, some underperfomer!
I don't think he parted company with effenbert because of underperforming - there must have been something else going on. Great ride from him in race 2, bad tyre choice in race 1 (which could have been an amazing idea if it'd rained!).
There's some talk that Baz will be on the ZX10 next year, but according to the MCN, the ZX10 is the bike that everyone wants to be on next year - even biaggi.
Strange crash on the finish line as well - you just kinda know something's likely to happen with jonny rea is charging towards the finish line! He's apparently on the short-list for the gresini gp ride next year too. Winning at Suzuka hasn't done him any harm at all.
Will be really interesting to see rossi back as no.2 rider next year - I hope he hands it to lorenzo, but I think he'll be outdone by him.

As for Guintoli, some underperfomer!, the guy is a class act. Think there must have been some wry smiles up and down the paddock after this weekend (although probably not in the Effenbert garage!). Young Baz again impressed throughout the course of the weekend and totally deserved that win, another ex-BSB rider showing he can cut it on the international stage. There is certainly some real talent coming through our little domestic championship these days.
and a certain ''well known Italian on the blue bike'' news, precisely what the premier class is going to need next year. Reports appear to suggest that Lorenzo seems to have welcomed the decision, I'm sure that feeling will last throughout the course of their 2 year contracts.......not!
Done deal..
I hope so! I did see visordown had a 'italian press reports' article earlier in the week, but I always treat those with a little suspicion!
