...Only few years til the track is done in Wales mate!
With Spies, I wonder whether it's Lin Jarvis, or someone outside of the racing team?
I thought the black flag was pretty funny - crash helmet or not, you probably shouldn't be punching other riders!
Busy weekend coming up - Brno, random russian WSB and Cadwell. Of all of it, I'm looking forward to the BSB the most!
Did you see, Haslam is rumoured to have signed with Ten Kate?
As for Ben Spies, this makes for interesting reading. I really feel for the guy, the luck he has had this season has been unbelievable. The weird thing is the other Yamaha's seem to be damn near bullet proof?
See that Finnish guy getting black flagged for 'unsportsmanlike behaviour' in the Moto3 race? Why has Marquez never been given one of those over the last 18 months?!!
If I were Ben Spies, I'd give up now - that bike does not want him riding it - he's almost got as bad luck as the hopper! (who's seriously considering a hip replacement)
Marquez rode well in Moto2 - I think he's going to have a bit of a shock next year though.
Reports suggest Rossi may not be able to take his crew to Yamaha with him next season, can't see that happening TBH.
Me neither, I think JB will go with him regardless unless he actually wants to stay with ducati. The mcn had a quick interview with him this week where he said 'if it was my choice we wouldn't have moved', so I think he'd be happy to go back!

Strange team them...bikes are pretty good, riders are pretty good, their team decisions though are very wierd! It could be budget, sponsors or just that the series organisers weren't nice to them last time out (for some random reason).
It's still transfer time in the fantasy league - I've ditched Stoner for Lorenzo but stuck with Crutchlow. With my recent luck in the league, don't be suprised to see bikes 99 and 35 suffer 'mysterious' swingarm failures this week!
Wales GP
WOW!!! never actually thought anything would come of that!
Did you see Stoner has made a few snidey comments about Rossis return to Yamaha? There's a story in the sport section of the MCN if you fancy a laugh![/I]
Yeah, read them whilst eating my breakfast this morning, nearly choked on my toast! Someone being dissed by Stoner for moaning is quite possibly the most ironic thing that I have ever heard!
Reports suggest Rossi may not be able to take his crew to Yamaha with him next season, can't see that happening TBH. Reckon that would have been one of very first things he would have boxed off before signing. I suspect as soon as Ben Spies officially announces his BMW WSB ride (and that he's taking his crew with him) Rossi's long standing team will join him.

I honestly think Cal really would be best off staying on the Tech3 bike with hopefully Lin Jarvis agreeing to some regular factory upgrades as and when they become available.
Redding & Iannone would be ideal candidates for the 2nd Ducati team, they are both fast, aggressive & would be basically starting from a clean sheet having never ridden another GP machine. Also if it didn't work out they would have had ample chance to put themselves in the shop window for better rides in a couple of years time. Cal & Dovi on the other hand would be attempting to adjust from the best handling bike in the field to the worst. We have just witnessed a 9 time world champion failing to manage that, unless the bike dramatically improves why would they fare any better? However, if Cal does decide to try it I would be more than happy to be proved wrong.
Italian press say Dovi to Ducati.
And Cal's been offered a factory bike in the 'junior' team! Why are all these people trying to jump on a ducati? Factory team or not, the bike isn't up to much!
A lot of people think crutchlow has a more aggressive style which will suit the duke, but it's not like Hayden is the smoothest rider and although he's doing pretty good, it's still not great.
I agree with you, what's wrong with the tech3 bike. It's the best satellite out there at the moment. Even if it's not updated much next year, it's still going to be there or thereabouts.
He admitted at Silverstone a few races ago to not attempting to pass team mate Stoner as he did not want to see 2 Repsol Honda's in the dirt on the final lap. Perhaps someone should point out to him that this sport is called motor 'racing' and he currently competes in the premier motorcycle class in which team orders are supposed to be banned. Anyway, next year he is getting a young fellow Spaniard as a team mate who at times has not shown anything like this sort or respect towards his fellow competitors, should be interesting...
Numnut, I too think the Rossi move is good for the sport and I honestly do not think he underestimates just how strong Lorenzo is. I suppose whoever he chose to race for Lorenzo would still be the guy out there to beat. He may as well go for what he knows will be a machine on which he should have a reasonable chance of racing him on. It's a shame the Ducati thing didn't work out and he is for sure the biggest scalp the Desmo has claimed to date, although with the likes of Gibernau, Checa, Melandri etc. he is in very good company!
I honestly don't see why Cal & Dovi seem so intent on getting off the Tech 3 bike TBH, it's hardly the worst ride available.
