Yeah, much better racing at Assen - I think WSS is the same as Moto2, usually better than the 'main event'!

Jonny Rea did alright, I guess the fireblade is happier on the winding tracks. Good that Laverty and Guintoli did alright - I got some much needed points!

Haslam is aiming for a donnington return - I don't know whether tough as hell is the right way to describe it - plain mental might be better...every time camier put his knee down I cringed a little!

A few of my family members went to the Wales Comic Con convention yesterday and apparently Foggy was there

If it's a yearly thing, it might be worth popping along next year then..

I would have ended up doing the \'\'I\'m not worthy\'\' thing from Wayne\'s World!

A picture of you doing that in front of foggy would have made nice avatar...

Good weekend for the Brits! All of them did a great job at Assen, Sam Lowes was awesome in WSS as well. Haslam's injury doesn't sound pleasant at all, think he'll be out of action for a bit with that. Saying that look at how well Camier went in yesterday's races, these guys are tough as hell!

A few of my family members went to the Wales Comic Con convention yesterday and apparently Foggy was there, had I have known that I night have skived off work and gone with them. Don't think many of the massive collection of nerds even knew who he was. On second thoughts it's probably a good thing as I would have ended up doing the ''I'm not worthy'' thing from Wayne's World!

Did you see Spies interviewed on the grid in Texas?, he looked really uncomfortable. Can't imagine what the race must have been like for him, it was an achievement that he managed to complete it. The bad luck that guy has had over the past couple of seasons is incredible.

I'm sticking with my original team for now as I seem to be doing quite a bit better than usual (although that wouldn't really be difficult TBH!).

On paper I suppose Pol Espargaro is still the favourite for the title but I just wonder what will happen if Scott bags a win or 2 in the first half of this season?

Like you say, let's hope he does and puts Pol under a bit of pressure and then we'll what happens!

Did you see this? You really feel for the guy, he really doesn't have any luck at all.

BTW think the first transfer window thing is now open.

I was going to stick with the team I had, but I've just had a look and have got rid of Rea and replaced with Guintoli and have taken a chance on Marquez in GP. I traded up a bit in BSB as well replacing Zanotti (0.1mil) with Costello (0.3mil).

I'm a fair few points behind at the mo.

On paper I suppose Pol Espargaro is still the favourite for the title but I just wonder what will happen if Scott bags a win or 2 in the first half of this season? I think he could be one of those guys who once he starts winning, makes a bit of a habit of it. I was watching him in free practice and he really did look good. It was a shame his foreseen tyre degradation problem seemed to kick in about 3 laps into the race, that's not going to happen at every race though (hopefully!). If Pol has any weakness it's when put under big pressure he has been known to make mistakes, I'm sure that hasn't gone unnoticed by Mr. Redding & co! Think the championship could end up being a lot closer than some people expect.

Cortese's jump start was pretty impressive, don't think the rest of the field had even put their leathers on!

Yeah the Moto3 stoppage crash was horrible, glad it hear nothing worse came of it.

BTW think the first transfer window thing is now open.

Thought GP was a bit rubbish TBH, taking nothing away from Marquez he was every bit as awesome as we suspected he was going to be around Texas. Cal did very well, surely he\'s earned the chance for a factory(ish) spec bike throughout this year? Apparently Rossi had some kind of front brake malfunction which unsurprisingly screwed up his race, that was hardly the ideal circuit for that to happen on! :0

Yeah I think we were a bit spoiled for the first race and it made this one a little less exciting!

Yeah good job by cal, so much for his 'we shouldn't bother going cos we didn't test' quote! Sometimes I think he needs to shut up! His bike isn't as specced up as the factory ones, but he's beating a factory yamaha, 2 ducatis and a factory honda so he's doing alright...

Marquez was great and you could see it was only a matter of time before he passed dani, so much for dani's best chance at the title this year!

Moto2 was great though, shame Scott Redding had tyre wear issues but yet again he showed what a top racer he is. With Espargaro\'s non score he heads to Jerez as championship leader, good stuff!

yep, I think redding is going to be there or thereabouts when it comes to the end of the season. Something tells me it's Pol's championship though.

Moto3 was pretty good as well (save for that awful crash, Iwema is alright by all accounts though). The 5 lap restarted race was awesome to watch and nice to see danny webb not only finishing a race, but getting points as well.

Think it's fair to assume the Schwantz thing hasn't been amicably sorted..

Yeah Marquez does seems to be doing quite well so far!

I was looking at the times earlier and there was a real drop off as you got to the end of the top 10, almost like there'd been some rain...I presuming there wasn't any!

A good showing for the ducatis (so far) as well. We'll see what happens later, should be live on Eurosport (and the BBC i think) for when I get home...
