Don't if you knew Preziosi has now officially left Ducati. Really hope they can turn their fortunes around this year. I fear another year from hell could see them questioning their investment in MotoGP. Hard to see what they are getting from it at the moment, if anything they are probably damaging their brand.

Yeah you're right I think Guinters is going to be pretty good this year. I spent the races thinking 'I should have put laverty in my team and not sykes'. Apparently I did, which was a nice surprise!

Maybe that's why Phillip Island is so early in the year - to give rider time to recouperate after their 'ambition outweighing their talent' at the first race....

GP testing has been interesting...

I don't think the ducatis are going to be chasing wins this year, but I think they'll do ok, they've been lessening the distance to the front throughout the testing - it's still around a second, but it's less than it was!

We should have at least 4 potential winners next year with the yams and hondas then we've got cal and bradl on the satelite bikes (isn't bradls a 'factory' bike) who should be able to mix it up for the podium places.

This looks promising though
It does - another manufacturer on the grid is always going to be good. Though aren't they going to have to get one of the existing teams to use their bikes rather than come in as a full factory effort straight away?

GP testing has been interesting, Espargaro quicker than some prototypes including 2 supposedly works spec Ducati's. Maybe they should just build some Panigale based CRT's instead?

This looks promising though.

It was!

The new ducati was looking good until Checa caught melandri's back wheel. Not read anything about what state he's in, but the eurosport commentary team didn't sound too fussed so I guess he must be doing ok.

Looks like guinters has 'gelled' with the rsv quite quickly, so aprilia have a pretty strong chance again.

I watched the supersport race too, shame lowes couldn't make his lead over sofuoglu stick, but good to watch. I think that's going to be close this year too.

Just another month to wait til the next one...

Cool, will do that now. That 3rd place has my name all over it....again...

Anyone else up for this? (go on you know you want to!).

Just read that Gino Rea is unemployed for this year, that sucks.

It's fantasy league time again - league PIN is 9709 - maybe some more people might want to play this year.....you do get a lucky dip option if you haven't got a clue who to pick!

Yeah, have kept an eye on them. Not surprised Rossi has been there or thereabouts TBH nor am I that surprised how fast Marquez has been, the big test will be if he can continue to keep it shiny side up.

Rossi and Preziosi may be gone but things aren't looking much rosier at Ducati, they were all very disappointing.

Cal was pretty much where I expected him to be and like you said Bradley seems to be getting to grips with things well, pleasantly surprised by that.

Think it's going to be a very interesting season.

Seen any of the testing times?

Turns out Rossi is a bit faster on the Yamaha than the Ducati, and Marquez is flying!

Bradley Smith isn't doing too bad either, he's sitting in the top 10 after todays track time which is a good enough start.

Yep, it does!

Stoner says he'll be back if it looks like fun again (or something) - I'd like to see him race again, but I think Marquez will take his place.

WSB have been testing already as well - Sykes has been fastest so far. I think it's 24th Feb that they have their first race so we'll have to get thinking about our teams again.

Really, really can't wait!
