I figured seeing as there seems to be a fair few people into importing like myself around here that we should have our own thread to talk about the latest American and Japanese releases and also to have a bit of a laugh at the European gamers and feel superior with our access to better games :-D

So lets get talking about the latest games coming out overseas

Cheers - but what you've actually shown me is the key-thing you can use to force the game-tray open with, which is bad.

The actual flip-top lid is below it - and comes with the boot discs bundled in, so you're work may cease.
Thanks fella.

Does this actually make it so you can buy any game from any country and play whatever game you want over here?

Thanks.

Good question to ask in the Sony forum :-/

On the chipping thing, i have had mine done actually and it lasted 4 years, which judging by the stories i've seen in here in the past is about 2 years longer then the average lifespan so i think i've done pretty well. Just had to play on my japanese PS2 until i get another one
