I figured seeing as there seems to be a fair few people into importing like myself around here that we should have our own thread to talk about the latest American and Japanese releases and also to have a bit of a laugh at the European gamers and feel superior with our access to better games :-D

So lets get talking about the latest games coming out overseas

Haha. I reckon they ought to put a warning on the box citing "Social Life? Forget it, it's now gone!" ;-D

Bit worried that one memory card might not be enough, any ideas if a UK card would work with a US PS2?

Yeah, will work fine.

Periphials aren't region specific.

Not in most cases but the GameCube memory card thing was a pain so I thought it would be best to ask about the PS2 as well.

Cheers anyway though.

Region wise, the only other pain in the 'bum' peripheral was the Dreamcast Lightgun... the games wouldn't let you use guns from other regions. Good job it only cost me a fiver for US House of the Dead 2, I had to buy a 2nd Jpn version.

No problem mate. It'll be fine. I have 2 Memory Cards with a mixture of PAL, JPN and US saves. :)

Mine plays some of the time. She loves Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. She wants to learn how to play PES3, but I refuse to teach her for fear of her beating me. ;-D
