I figured seeing as there seems to be a fair few people into importing like myself around here that we should have our own thread to talk about the latest American and Japanese releases and also to have a bit of a laugh at the European gamers and feel superior with our access to better games :-D

So lets get talking about the latest games coming out overseas

Well that is a tough question. If you have not got Disgaea or La Pucelle Tactics, get em. really good and the longevity is outstanding. Import wise definetly the Front Mission series. You will really enjoy them.

Thought of any other games you want?

Yeah, once I grab some cash together (minus the cost of a GBA) PS2 importing stuff comes first - just filling up on all the decent games that never made it over here.

Other than GTA (more out of duty, than need) and Ace Combat 5, there aren't really any PAL PS2 games I want. It's all GC, to be honest.

So - which game should I get first?
Tough question - but which game was it criminal not to release over here, more than any other?

Thanks.

I've also recently acquired Yoshinoya, which is completely frentic and good fun to play; kind of a like playing a QTE scenario in Shenmue in fact, but at a faster pace.

Not true. You will however, reduce the life of the machine if you play copies on it, since it wears the laser-head out a lot quicker, since the laser has to work twice as hard to read the data.
