Well, it's out and I shall be buying it. "Why?!?" I hear you cry ... well, partly because I have the first two and I like closure and partly because I have the missus' nephews and nieces staying with us most weekends and holidays and a certain amount of my DVD purchases have them in mind.

The nephews (who are both 10) love The Matrix and Reloaded so they'll no doubt want to watch it, much the missus' annoyance.

Perhaps, but Neo is part machine, part human.

Even if his code was desiminated, that doesn't prove his death and it doesn't explain that crucial sentence - "it is done".

Yep, and Neo was meant to return to the source, according to the Architect for code desemination. And that's what I presume happened.

The purpose of The One was to gather a group of people and rebuild Zion after it was destroyed. Everything screwed up after Neo chose the wrong door.

I'm pretty sure that was his code being deseminated. We know that Neo was meant to return to the source, and that's what he has done here, and we know his code was meant to be deseminated. It makes sense.

How do we know Neo was unconcious?

Why the hell would the machine have said "It is done"? Why? For dramatic effect? It's a machine. It had to be talking to Neo, as (as I understand it) all the machines are part of an interconnected network.

Furthermore, when Neo is wheeled off on that conveyor belt, there was an incredibly bright glow emitting from his body when we saw it in gold vision.

Worst argument ever.

But then why would it speak to an unconscious body, presuming Neo didn't die?

I think it's safe to conclude that it didn't say it for no reason, considering how machines are as efficient as possible and all that.

Not neccessarily. Although I see your point. Why would it talk to Neo if it knew he was unconscious at best?
