Big mistake by Lorenzo though, thought he was going to blame Ellison for not moving out his way, but he didn't. To be fair ellison couldn't have really gone anywhere aside from off the track if jorge wanted to get by on that corner!

Doubt Ellison (who looks to be out of a job for next year BTW) even knew he was there and I would imagine Lorenzo thought Pedrosa was still right on his exhaust pipes (as he was a couple of corners before). No ones fault IMO, one of them really (some blue flags might have helped though!).

Expected rossi to kick his gp12 over and set fire to it at the end of the race (I remember he kissed his m1 after his last race on it) - a fitting end to his spell at ducati I thought.

I looks like Preziosi is out of a job if the rumours are to be believed though. Don't know whether that's a good or bad thing.

Think Rossi was just glad to get off the damn thing in one piece TBH, he is the only Desmo rider not to have really hurt himself this year. Regarding Preziosi, it's a hard one to call, his bike clearly doesn't work anything like as well as the Japanese machines and I suppose he has to take some responsibility for that? If Rossi flies on the Yamaha tomorrow and Dovi is slow that's not going to bode well for him is it?

I know there's one set of rules for marquez and another set for the others, but his ride in moto2 was brilliant, a real shame for gino though.

The guy's very fast, no doubt about that but he's never far from controversy is he? Remember the Simoncelli witch hunt?, if Sic had done half of what Marquez has got away with this year Dorna would have thrown the book at him. Marquez finally gets a penalty but only after he had already won the championship, not convinced that taught him anything TBH (Aegerter probably agrees!). Regarding Gino Rea, he was well unlucky yesterday and I actually class his ride in Malaysia (a race in which he was incredibly unlucky not be classed the winner) as one of the best (if not, the best) performances of the year (in any class). He deserves another year in Moto2 in my view.

Right, can't wait for tomorrow, should be very interesting...

EDIT: Almost forgot, well done Freeola Champion! :)

Yeah I thought GP was pretty good, it's always good to see a bit of chaos!

Nasty crash, there's some good stills around of it though - visordown have got a good one where his bike looks a lot like Spies' did when his swingarm 'broke'.

Danny kent in Moto3 was great, a nice cheeky pass right at the end - a good end to his season, haven't read anything about him binning it in the moto2 test today either...

I know there's one set of rules for marquez and another set for the others, but his ride in moto2 was brilliant, a real shame for gino though.

Thought it was quite interesting TBH, enjoyed watching them wobble about for 45 minutes. That Japanese test rider did brill, apparently it looked like 2012 was set to be the first year without a Japanese rider being on the podium (in any class) for something like 17 years, reckon he'll be a superstar back in the land of the rising sun after that!

Moto2/3 were both really good, awesome ride by Danny Kent, loved watching him barge Cortese out of the way on the final corner! Just hope Tech3 can finally build a decent Moto2 bike for next year as this years as been rubbish (they could always switch to a Suter or Kalex instead of building their own chassis I suppose?).

Think everyone's looking forward to the big test on Tuesday...

EDIT: Badovini announced at Ducati WSB, presume Guintoli is getting the factory RSV4 next year then?

Check out this pic of Lorenzo from yesterday!

Yeah I saw that about tommy hill, not good for the series really. If Shakey does go to GP with PBM (I don't think he should) then it's really Josh Brooks' title to lose next year. Hopefully something'll change his mind over the winter!

Haven't seen it, but everyone who has have said that Marquez was a bit out of order. Good to see him given a penalty, but he'll probably still win from the back of the grid.

Tommy Hill has announced he is on gardening leave for 2013, quite surprised (and disappointed) by this TBH., with spare WSB rides seemingly available I was hoping he might have ended up there.

Marquez has been a naughty boy (again!) and apparently bowled Corsi off in practice yesterday, he is to start tomorrows race from the back of the grid. With the championship already decided I doubt he really cares though.

The RSV4 is definitely the better option, I don't think it'll take aprilia long to get someone on it though if guitoli can't get out of or hasn't signed his ducati deal then I can't really think of anyone who's not currently got a ride sorted.

I agree with you about Rossi, he wants that 10th title and I think he'll probably do it, but perhaps not as easily as he might have done before. I just want to see more than lorenzo/pedrosa flying off at the front.

If the ink isn't set on Guintoli's Ducati contract then who knows....?, wouldn't blame him, I'm sure the all new Panigale will be superb in the end but it could take at least a season to sort out. The RSV4 on the other hand has just won the championship for the second time in 3 seasons, if he hasn't actually signed for Alstare then surely he must be a candidate to replace Biaggi?

Regarding Rossi, I honestly do not think he would have returned to Yamaha if he didn't believe he could win on that bike. Winning the occasional race is more than doable for him IMHO, regularly beating Lorenzo is going to be a tall order though. Now the championship has been decided I reckon we'll see him the real Lorenzo back this weekend, don't blame him for being in cruise control mode (by his standards) for the last few races, that was exactly what he needed to do. Perhaps there should be a wonderful shootout formula introduced to prevent this from happening ever again...?!!! Do I think Rossi is going to dutifully follow his teammate around next season?......not a chance, he wants that 10th world title and I reckon he's going to give it everything he has to try and get it.
