We dont understand technology or cars, its a fact. We can cook, multi task and generally communicate better than men, but we rely on you for the aforementioned examples above.
I know broadband makes things download faster but what else? Basically does it just mean the information comes to your computer faster than with a dial up modem, like what I am using now?
Does broadband come in different speeds? Like you can get 28 k b s modems and 56 k b s modems and I think you can get 128 k b s modems too, so does broadband vary in its speeds also?
Explain it to me please because I am considering getting it but would like to know more before I do!

My dial up was super slow. I mean really. It downloaded ay 1kb per sec. It's why i don't mind about the speed of BB, just that it IS BB.

It does. And it's what i have until i get x-box live and i have to pay the extra £10 myself for 500k.
