If it was up to you, would you have a strong-ish relationship ('going out') or would you have a very strong friendship with a member of the opposite sex?

I'm more of a friendship guy myself, seeing as I don't have the balls to ask someone out in the first place.

What aboot you?

What brilliance? I've stated something from my experiences, I don't expect everyone to throw down their flower bunches and scream for refunds. I'm long adjusted to the fact that nothing I say on the internet will have any effect on people's future actions. I'm just having an argument because it helps pass a little time.

I beg to differ. Take a trip down to Thailand.

Where did that come from? I posted my opinion, and you startde with the indignation, not me. I was just posting my opinion as well. If you're allowed to get red-faced and weepy over my thoughts, then I can react to yours as well. Or do you expect everythng to be exactly the way you want?

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...

Fully agree.

If you want to subscribe to that, go for it. Doesn't mean everyone has to. Relationships are about give and take, romance is about give and keep on giving.

I'm thoroughly familiar with it. I've wasted more than my fair shaer on romantic gestures in the past, I just fail to see the point. I'm sure you have plenty of experiences where romance has bought you the world, but personally, I was under the impression that love was the one thing you couldn't buy.

Oh, I'm not too sure. A romantic gesture here and there is always appreciated but if you have to continually do it, then you're with the wrong woman.

Don't fret too much; IB has this quaint idea that everyone should always be dazzled by the self-evident brilliance of what he says. He gets most red-faced and angry when he's called into question...

Of course, I'm not above tearing into people who do the same to me, but such is life...
