They've pretty much said they're not going to punish Hamilton directly, so it does sound like a fine would be more suitable to their plans.
There is the possibility of being kicked out of the Championship and even a race suspension. There could also be a fine and a suspended sentence.
What's the betting that more of the cars suddenly change the shape of their defusers too...? :D
Ferrari look hopeless at the moment, especially after Massa's good wet weather driving was wasted after a curious failure.
It won't be until Spain where we see major changes as Bahrain is next weekend.
Really good to see Brawn GP come out tops on the findings too, good ol' Button must really be glad he stuck it out at Honda.
Not so sure if Hamilton will be as lucky, he shoud really learn a few lessons from the current predicament anyway.
Anyway, Ferrari have a new aero package. They'll be hoping to score some points.
I thought Sunday's race was pretty good up until the rain and this season DOES look like there is more emphasis on the drivers anyway since all the changes have levelled out the cars more.
Don't forget that it's traditionally the first few races where we see different teams get ahead, but once the European races start the big teams usually get up to speed with their cars and I think we'll see more of that here.
It's a shame the whole McLaren thing is still going on, Hamilton really shouldn't have lied, but we don't really know what pressure he was put under to do it. I guess (as usual) we'll never know the full story and fanboys will end up arguing about it all without the facts just like last year.
What it does do, though, is play into Button's hands by giving him some more of the limelight, not just through his racing, but through those fans who weren't convinced by Hamilton (more off the track than his actual racing).
Give em one tank of fuel, one set of tires, and see who's the best driver ... seems to make sense to me ...
