The more I see about this game, the more I want it. The graphics, the bosses (particularly the shark), the atmosphere all seem to add up to a must buy game, but I'm still not sure.

You guys have played it, so what are the good parts? I've read reviews, but a little persuasion about the fun factor, etc would be nice. Is it worth buying?

So now it's fun not to kill things, instead to run past them, and save your ammo. Save it for what exactly? Do you get a bonus if you don't use any ammo? no.

You can't just go around blasting zombies because you can't afford to waste ammo. It's more a fear thing.

Just you wait! Walking past a cupboard never feels the same again. It ruined my life, until i managed to bury the fear in my sub-conscience.

You want scary? You watch Ring. You'll never be the same. I still suffer from the HORROR.

I know that they eventually open the doors, but they rattle them for so long, you can easily run away, and they wont follow you through another door.

Resident evil IS scary. You may not realise it while playing, but wait till you go for a drink or something in the middle of the night, the journey seems twice as long.
