The more I see about this game, the more I want it. The graphics, the bosses (particularly the shark), the atmosphere all seem to add up to a must buy game, but I'm still not sure.

You guys have played it, so what are the good parts? I've read reviews, but a little persuasion about the fun factor, etc would be nice. Is it worth buying?

Good Good, Capcom are great! I am hoping this will help silence the PS2 Fanboys (I know that will never happen!)

But Capcom = ¦:¬)

News:

"Capcom's Atsushi Inaba, producer of Steel Battallion, revealed in an interview with Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream that Capcom plans to strengthen its software support for the Gamecube. Inaba went on to say that five new Gamecube games are currently in development, including software targeted at older gamers, and some of them may be displayed as early as next week.

In a related story, Famitsu has reported that Biohazard 4 (Resident Evil 4 in the U.S.) will be revealed soon. Sounds like a good time to own a Cube."

Dino Crisis 4 is gonna be on PS2, and apparently Resi 4 is gonna be PS2 as well. Lucky for those of us who had the sense to fork out for the BETTER of the two consoles i.e. GC and PS2.

Well they've got all six but after that it can go wherever. Capcom are definitely keeping a foot in each boat, you might say - they have the Resident Evils on the GameCube, the Resi Survivors and Resi Online on PS2, and Dino Crisis on Xbox. So they can convert to any console really. And yes, Capcom do have three feet.

Originally Capcom were going to make one exclusive game Resi game for each platform. Code Verconica for the DC, Resident Evil Zero for the N64 etc

But the DC went bust so they decided to port it onto the PS2, upgrading it along the way. Zero wasn't finished in time and so went onto the GC, which was when Nintendo struck the deal to have all six games exclusives, the details of this deal aren't known. We don't know how long it last etc.

I've kinda given up Res Evil at the minute. Too many other games to play.
i.e. Eternal Darkness and Timesplitters 2.
