I'm going to have lots of money soon and because my PC sucks I think I'll buy my first console... hurrah.

Not a Gamecube because I don't want to play crap like Pikmin and Lugi's Mansion.

So Playstation 2 is cheaper than X-Box but not as good and has pretty good games.

X-Box is one big beast but Microsoft made my PC crap and it costs a lot.

So what should I get... give me good reasons and prices and stuff please?

Thanks

I was going to save up for Les Paul or SG but I'm too crap to play such a lovely guitar so go now.

PS2 is for big girls who think they're clever cause they can play so called 'mature games' when actually it's a case of the publisher making shoddy average games then chucking a load of gore and swearing in so girls buy it by the bucket load to make em look grown p and macho but we all know they they're just big girly boys.

Ps2 is stinky girls computer for big gays who think they're ard.

Xbox is big girls box but iz better than PS2 but Bill Gates is gay.

So it's up to you what ya get, probably be better off investing the money in something worthwhile like.....ummmmm.....some Cheese?

It all depends what you like.
What games appeal to you and what consoles can you get them on and also what games are due out on these consoles in the near and distant future that sound good too you.

Iam studying computer science at uni and did a project comparing the performance of the XBox and PS2 and take it from me there is no great diference between them so just concentrate on the games.

I have a PS2 and Gamecube. Personally the GC has been a little disapointing, no games since Monkey Ball have appealed to me. PS2 is great at the moment. Loads of games due out I want or am looking forward too. A few gamecube games are also catching my eye that could be quite good. As for XBox I don't have one, didn't want one and doubt I would buy one at the present moment. Just dosn't appeal to me at all.
