My point being didn't Nintendo say "they don't need fancy capabilities like dvd" funny that isn't it because without my PS2 I would not have been able to play it.
I'd rather play DVDs on my PC than my tV for three reasons
1)The screen is 21 inch (not that small)
2)The sound system is a lot better and the subwoofer really brings action sequences to life
3)I have a really nice comfy chair in my study big leather soft and wheely!
The NGC discs are full size DVD-ROMS so ofcourse they're not going to be compatable with a system that can only read discs up to 8cm wide! lol
Fools the lot of 'em :D

Unless a new issue of NOM has come out very recently, then you must be talking about an old issue of NOM that came out before the GameCube itself!
Nintendo Official Magazine, as far as I can remember, have only ever given out two free discs. One was a disc with a rolling demo of Pokémon Stadium 2 in PC-CDROM format. The other was an 8cm PC-CDROM which came in a thin-card flat GameCube sleeve and was designed to be used on PCs.
So what the hell are you talking about anyway?
Nice one ShadowDragon.
:D

I think you're missing the PC gambit. TV OUT.
I can play games on my monitor, or on my TV. Same for movies.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again:
PC owners can have whatever they can concieve of having, console owners have to take what they are given.

The below average, not very intelligent, under-researched guy comes into a few forums to tell everyone what HE thinks of the consoles he doesn't own. Everyone calls him a fanboy but he doesn't know what they mean. He hasn't heard of the Q and doesn't know what it can do so, in a stupid attempt of wit, he makes himself look like a complete fool. What? The Q is a form of the GameCube for those that want to have the DVD capability? And what's that Mr. Salesman? The PS2 only has that big a library of games because it can play another console's games? Oh dear... Tubby bye bye!
