"My PS2 plays Nintendo discs."

I bought an Offical Nintendo magazine the other day and on the front it looked like the little Nintendo disc, so I thought I could play the demo disc on my GC. So imagine my surprise when I realised it was dvd disc lucky for me I had PS2 to play it on.

My point being didn't Nintendo say "they don't need fancy capabilities like dvd" funny that isn't it because without my PS2 I would not have been able to play it.

1). The idea behind OGCM giving out a DVD on a disc the size of the GameCube discs is an aesthetic thing. Plank!

2). I have a DVD player on my PC, which was cheap. Add on the price of the GameCube and I would still have saved money against the other 2 consoles.

3). Trying to start arguments with other users isn't a good idea.

I know lots of people that wanted a DVD player, but held on for the PS2 because it had one built in.

That's quite a funny comment have you never used your DVD player to play movies. Then again I didn't fork out for a dvd player and a console so you probably can't afford to buy dvd's anyway.

It doesn't need DVD ability you fool, most people have a DVD player already and what exactly other than larger storage space and easier to pirate games does a DVD player bring to your console?

I suppose the next dvd I get I could always cut the disc down so it fits in my GC.
