A little disapointed to be honest. I know i have only played it for an hour and a half so far, but to be honest at the moment it doesnt feel like i have done anything apart from watched with a little bit of walking and really really easy fights in between.

For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.

You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.

Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.

Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.

Damn i missed that Aeon and i'm too far ahead to go back for him. Hopefully you will get that airship again and be able to control it so i can go back and get him. I really need to level up my characters though now.

To work Lulu's overdrive, just keep rotating the right analog stick clockwise.

I can't believe some people. I mean, that was obvious. :-D

I worked it out myself! Why can't anyone else work it out for themselves. That's the second person I've told now. 1/2Pint was begging me to tell him earlier. :-D

Oh and I have Blizzaga and Thundara and all those. But I'm past that damn Ronso fight! I suppose I don't have steal or mug with him anyway (both for Rikku only) but I need some damn level 3 key spheres.

I'm on a pretty damn hard boss at the moment. He starts with only 40,000HP but he always casts Regen and Curaga on himself. Each Curaga gives him 9999 back. I once got him down to 10,000 but then he cast 2 Curagas and Regen so he was soon back up to the max 40,000. The fight lasted about half an hour before I finally gave in to the inevitable and turned the console off. I wasn't in any danger of dying but he was basically alwys on max HP. However, I think I've worked out what to do on him now. Just get him down to about 20,000HP and then do my Bahuteman (or whatever - he's called Muhammad on my game :-D) Overedrive to finish him off.

Oh and 1/2 Pint, you've obviously got to this point since you know about the Ronso fight....Do you have the Aeon Yojimbo? I was lucky in finding him. After defeating Defender X the first time, I went straight into Mt Gagazet. However, I didn't save it as I thought I may be able to capture Defender X for that guy in the Calm Lands. So I killed him again (couldn't capture him) and went doiwn into the valley instead of going to Mt Gagazet. There's a cave down there which holds another Aeon. You have to pay him to get him though. Between 250,000 and 300,000 Gil is his asking price but you can negotiate. Anyway, when I offered him 215,000 he said "adequate". Now whenever I summon him, I can't actually tell him to attack. All I can do is dismiss him or pay him. If I pay him (1 Gil is enough) then he attacks how ever he feels like it. He is damn good and looks the daddy but I was wondering whether if you offer him more when you first meet him, you don't have to pay him when fighting? If you haven't got him, I suggest you go back (unless it's a ridiculous distance) as he looks extremely cool and has some brilliantly cool attacks.

*cough cough* See!? They don't all end in 'ara' or 'aga'

Heh heh, just pointing out that error from the little 'hastega' dispute.

And by the way, do any of you have the Firaga, Waterga, Thundara or Blizzaga?

I know where to get them from now! In the battle when Kimahri fights those other two Ronso, steal from them to get 4 level 3 key spheres. He has to have the ability 'mug' though, but I got them. Other than that, I've not picked any up from any location or anything.

Yeah thats him the with that evil lance attack which turns your people into zombies then he kills them with full life, didn't stock up on any Holy item things. Was tough that one until he stopped using the lance thing.

Yeah I've played for around 35 hours too and I also just beat a boss with 70,000 HP. Was it the one on the Mountain?

I must say this is probably my favourite game on the PS2 at the moment and only MGS2 comes close to it. I've played for around 35 hours and have just beaten this evil boss which had 70,000HP. So far though i've only had gameover 4 times when fighting the various bosses. Is it just me or do the bosses seem easier to beat than on other FF games?
