A little disapointed to be honest. I know i have only played it for an hour and a half so far, but to be honest at the moment it doesnt feel like i have done anything apart from watched with a little bit of walking and really really easy fights in between.

For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.

You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.

Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.

Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.

Agility determines how often you get to attack. If your player has a high agility, then they're likely to be the first person to act in a battle and is also likely to have more turns than people with low agility.

By the way, what does 'Luck' actually do?

And Agility?

I'd guess it's how good you are at evading attacks but that's what evasion is so....

Yeah I worked out how to use the search thingy and I found the theatre in Luca (bought all the music and movie spheres straight away :-D). I'll try that password thingy though.

It's just gettig better and better. I'm on about 50 hours now and I've just discovered a few new things. I have only just realised that I have a weapon with Lulu that has 'No Encounters'. I'll use that when I'm low on health and don't want to fight any more monsters. Also, I am looking for a piece of armor for Lulu and Yuna with 4 empty slots. I have 60 Triple Stars so I can put the 'Spells Costs 1MP' thing on them. Also, I have a double AP weapon for Tidus and can upgrade weapons for 2 other people or so to double AP.

Plus, I could never beat any of those 'Monsters' that the guy in the Calm Lands created. However, I managed to defeat the one from Besaid Island incredibly easily. It did have a ridiculouys amount of hits though which makes me wonder just how much the others have. I did 3 overdrives with my Bahuteman (or whatever) Aeon. Each one took 50,000HP! And then I had to take at least another 50,000 off it with spells and things.

And I know where another Aeon is but I can't get it yet! I need to get treasures in each of the 6 temples and I only have them in 3. I know I should have went to get that damn chest in the Bevelle temple!! The only thing is, I can't get back to any of the temples now. They're either blocked by guards or I have to go through an impossibly hard fight to get to them.

Again, lots more I wanna ask or say but I can't remember. There is just so much talk about in this damn game! :-D

Try putting the red cursor around the area of Besaid Island where you first started off and clicking a few times in that area, you should get a message saying you've found a new location. That location is added to your list of locations and then you can visit it at will. There are lots of others like that, some areas that you couldn't access before are accessible by finding them with the Search function.

Go to the Calm Lands again and travel to the top of the central area. You'll see some spirals on the ground around one of the larger thorns that protrudes from the ground. (From a distance this thorn looks much brighter than most). If you press 'X' whilst standing on one of them you'll get a password that works on the Password Function of the Airship map.

Stand in the main reception area where the Save Sphere is and the Weapons, Items and Blitzball NPCs stand behind a desk. From here you can go left, right or down. Left or right lead to the docks but if you go down you come to an area where you can go straight on or up. If you go up you'll come to the Theatre.

This topic is getting big. Everybody who thinks there should be a proper Final Fantasy forum, go to SR customer services forum and post in the topic I created.

Go on, do it for Tidus, Squall, Cloud and... Butz.

Try this - go back to the cave where you got Yojimba, warp to the end of the cave, then try walking back to the entrance - another guy will come who'll summon yojimba. The encounter will be 'ambushed' and Yojimba will do that move with the three knives and do 99999 worth of damage. God damn it, you can't kill him because you're ambushed!

Yeah, how does that search thing work? It says press X to search an area but it doesn't seem to do anything. And I'm a bit baffled by the password thingy too. I remembered finding a few of those Al Bhed scripture things so I went back to them. One was in Luca and although I had to decipher half of it myself, I worked it out to say:

"There is a a valley in a vast plain with a great thorn beside. From the thorn look cross the vale to the other side."

I went to the Calm Lands, wenbt to the massive valley and found a huge thorn but I couldn't see anything on the other side. Another thing I found in Besaid said:

"Kilika and Bikanel join as one."

Whatever the hell that means....

And another in Kilika which actually seemed to be a password:

"tepswrs
VCOIU"

I tried entering the top half in the password screen and it didn't work. Then I tried the bottom half. It doesn't all fit in at once so I have no idea what to do with it.

Anyway, I have been travelling back to areas which I've already passed through (eg, Besaid, Kilika, Luca, etc.). I'm capturing fiends and collecting more Al Bhed Primers and key items. Today, I placed that Rusty Sword which I found in the calm lands in some statue of Lord Mi'hen. A door thing appeared on the wall but it wouldn't open so it looks like I need another item to open it. I also have a Blossom Crown which is supposed to have some connection with a hidden Aeon. Not one I've got so far anyway.

However, what is annoying is the fact that many people want to kill me now. In Besaid, this guy called some Aeon (the one you start with) and I couldn't kill it. Every single hit would do 9999 worth of damage to my men and his overdrive would kill all of my men at once. I thoght that was hard. Then I went up against 3 people. One move (which took about 60 seconds to do!) took 99999 off each of my people. And yes, I am aware that I wrote 5 nines. One hundred thousand worth of damage!!

Every single one of my characetrs has come to the end of their route on the sphere grid now and I need level 3 keys to get through to start on another characters route. However, I used my one and only level 3 key to get "Double Cast" for Lulu. I still have 4 level 4 keys so I could get Ultima if I wanted but I'm not sure. It really doesn't seem that good.

I've just started to upgrade my Aeons' attributes now too. However, I'm only upgrading Muhammad (that's Bahuteman or something to you) at the moment. I've jsut been wandering through Besaid, Kilika and Luca and the enemies can't touch me. So I use Extract Speed, Power and Mana to get all the spheres to upgrade. The only problem is each fight gives me between 8 and 140 ability points for each characetr. A level up requires around 20,000 at the moment so I'm not really doing anything for my characters at the moment.

There is stil so much I know I have to ask and say but I can't remember any of it. I tell you, I dunno how I'm gonna review this game. 4000 characters won't be half as much as I'll need to explain to people why they MUST get it.

Oh and by the way, where is the Theatre in Luca?
