A little disapointed to be honest. I know i have only played it for an hour and a half so far, but to be honest at the moment it doesnt feel like i have done anything apart from watched with a little bit of walking and really really easy fights in between.

For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.

You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.

Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.

Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.

Perhaps - if you go to that little hut in the middle of the thunder plains there is some sort of information thing which tells you how many you've dodged. And there is a 'how many consecutive' things, so perhaps that is the case. If it is... :@!

Somebody told me today that in order to get a certain Sigil (Lulu's I think) you need to dodge 200 lightning bolts in Thunder Plains without leaving the screen or saving. Is this some sort of sick joke?!

Can you imagine how annoying that would be!? You yawn after getting 170 or so and then miss the flash....you're unlikely to be happy and probably won't be trying it again any time soon.

I've just started the cactuars thingy and its one hell of a lot easier with the no-encounters ability. I'm in a good position - I got the items from the race beneath Remiem temple, put 'Master Thief' on a piece of armour and stole enough items to get the no-encounters ability. So, now I can do all sorts of things like the Omega Dungeon without the infuriatingly annoying encounters and Malboro ambushes.

You get the airship late in the game so you can then return to all the palces you have already visited.

Anyway, there is something about cactuars in the Thunder Plains but I think he is talking about the Cactar thing in the desert on Bikanel Island.

I have just completed that but I haven't entered the Cactus City thing yet. I just went to save it after delivering the final sphere. I got all the good spheres of the warrior Cactuars so I'm hoping for something good - maybe a celestial weapon.

You don't pick up the chocobo feather, because you can't. If you're on a chocobo and examine it, the chocobo will jump somewhere, in this case to a different ledge.

how do you get to Remiem temple. I think I may have picked up the chocobo feather in the calm lands earlier in the game, does that mean I can't get there now?
