For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.
You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.
Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.
Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.
Valefore gave me a Break HP Limit armor for Wakka (3 more empty slots too).
Shiva gave me a Break Damage Limit for Lulu (3 more empty slots too).
Bahamut better give me something good when I defeat him. And ifrit.
I tryed dark ifrit in a 30 minute battle but couldn't defeat him.
However, now Yuna has auto-life so I'm gonna try again later.
Anyway, I didn't save it because the armour which I got was merely armour for Kimahri giving the break HP limit ability. I'm trying to do it again, but getting armour with the Ribbon ability instead, since you can get that off the dark aeons.
PS. Ribbon protects against every status effect (bad, that is)

And Dark Bahamat will kick yo puny ars! Sorry but it's true. He has a ridiculous amount of hits but I reckon on our next confrontation, I will beat him. I can take a million HP off him with my Anima overdrive and a further 600,000HP with my Magus Sisters overdrive. Dark Ifrit should certainly be easy.
I've been attempting loads of the fiends the guy makes in the arena recently. I have now killed all the area conquest ones and have done about 5 in the original conquest. However, I can't kill one of them. I take loads of hits off him and then he goes into his shell and recovers around 300,000HP a time for about 6 turns. It isn't regen so dispel doesn't work and it isn't curaga so reflect doesn't work. Only certain moves hit him and since 99,999HP is the most a turn, he recovers quicker than I can damage him. Grrr...
Plus I always seem to kill Don Tonberry whenever I fight him to level up now. It takes around 10 voodoos to kill my Bahamut as I just use shield all the time (attack and I'll kill him). One Passado with the Magus Sisters and then a normal attack kills him!
And my Blitzball team is coming along very nicely. I score a few a game with Graav now who plays left back. It is because he has Invisible Shot. CA and SH don't matter as you aim where the ball goes. It's easy to score from your own goal!
Whats the Sun Crest for anyway? (Am i missing something big from this game? what else might i have missed like this anyone?)
And where can i find the dark bahamut?
P.S, i voted for you.
Anyway, before i go much further in the story line (as from what i can tell its coming to an end sooner rather than later) i think ill go travel and do some of the quests and level up a little. Still havent started on the blitzball, so this should keep me busy for some time to come yet.
