A little disapointed to be honest. I know i have only played it for an hour and a half so far, but to be honest at the moment it doesnt feel like i have done anything apart from watched with a little bit of walking and really really easy fights in between.

For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.

You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.

Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.

Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.

4 discs! Jesus! Oh well, a 2-disc live Muse album will do me nicely. And that import Feeder album too - Another Yesterday. But 19 quid on Amazon and 32 quid on HMV! I mean, are those prices actually set for the sole reasoning of sickening me?! Ahh well, birthday fast approaching. Just as well considering the amount of CDs I want.

Ahhh, well that explains it then. I was wondering.

Afraid so. Although not necessarily every one. In fact, not necessarily any. You need to open 6 chests in 6 Cloister of Trials. Doesn't matter which temples as long as you have 6. Then go to Baaj Temple and it's easy from there. By the way, if you dont have Baaj Temple on your list of locations then just search near the South West of the map. It's around there somewhere I think.

My sister has the official 4-disk Japan only soundtrack, so I'm sorted. Oh yeah, and each celestial weapon allows certain aeons to attack for more than 9999 damage. Nice one, hey.

Anyway, what do you need to get Anima? I don't want to have to go to all the temples again, pleeease noooo because they all really really annoyed me.

I got Anima (which I named God) and the Magus Sisters (who I named Fat Girl, Grumpy and Athena - well I had to stick with the god theme) earlier. I killed that Dark Valefore using Yojimbo and paid him 100,000 Gil to do Zanmato. I got the chest in Besaid Temple and then went to Baaj Temple to get Anima.

I then went back to Remiem Temple and got the Magus Sisters. I fought all Balgamine's Aeons again and then when I defeated her the last one (Magus Sisters) she said that her time was up on Spira and asked me to send her. I got the choice of "Send her" or "Do Nothing". I wasn't sure what to do as I knew you got items off her for defeating her Aeons over and over, but I decided to send her. I got the Moon Sigil for sending her but I'm still not sure if I made the right choice, as I could have maybe sent her later. Thing is, I hadn't saved it for quite a while so I couldnt't reload and try "Do Nothing".

However, after I had sent her I decided to go the Farplane in Guadosalam to see if I could see her again. Unfortunately, I couldnt't. She wasn't there. But the music was so goddamm relaxing that I just went to sleep. I'm nto kidding. I just put the pad down while I was standing in the farplane and went to sleep. When I woke up (about half an hour later) I decided to go try out my new Aeons. Anima can take about 50,000 with a normal attack (although I did once take 99,999HP!) and probably over 150,000 with its overdrive! As for the Magus Sisters, they suck. Purely because you don't control them! They're like Yojimbo again. You don't pay them. You just have the choice of a few things. "Do what you Want", "Attack with magic", "Attack physically", "Heal others", "Cast defensive Spells", etc. However, when they do finally attack they are pretty damn powerful. And their overdrive takes around 100,000HP I'd say.

Plus, I can now take 99,999HP with Valefore's overdrive! I'm gonna go fight Dark Bahamut tomorrow and see if I can beat him. Unlikely, but it's worth a try. If I can't then I'll try Dark Shiva. If I can't kill her, I'll go onto Dark Ixian. If not that either then I'll try Dark Ifrit. Then, if I can be bothered, I may go to the Sunken Cave and give Dark Yojimbo a go. Failing that, I'll just go to the Sphere Theatre, put on Wandering (the farplane one) and go to sleep again. :-D

I should put that on minidisc. That'll help me out in my Physics exam tomorrow. When I finish, just put it on and go to sleep. Of course, they may get suspicious as to why I have plugs in my ears with wires coming out. "Are you cheating?" "No." "What are those headphones doing in your ears then?" "Doctor's orders." Might work.

Oh yeah and for some reason, I can suddenly take well over 9999HP of damage with Valefore and Yojimbo as well as Bahamut now. I guess it must be that Yuna just got to a certain level. However, for Ixian, Ifrit and Shiva, the limit is still 9999.

And as for Auron, every attack I did with my Murusame weapon (Piercing and One MP Cost) would take 9999 worth of damage. However, now that I have his Celestial Weapon (First Strike, Counter-Attack, Triple Overdrive and Break Damage Limit) I can only take around 5000 with each hit. why has it dropped so much? Is it just because it isn't piercing?

Plus, I watched all the stuff on the bonus DVD earlier and everyone casls Tidus Teedus instead of T(eye)dus. But that just sounds ridiculous.

And does anyone know where any other locked chests that need the celestial mirror are? And I stil need to find Vacheeja the Cactuar in the desert. I think that's his name anyway. It's something like that. What about where to get any other Sigils (other than the Mars one)?

Well I am extremely relieved because I'd be pretty damn unhappy if I couldn't.

Yeah I got this but the last pedestal on the left still doesn't light up. This made me think that that pedestal was the Bevelle one. I think it must be Besaid I don't have it in (although I think I remember gettting it in that). Well, it's either Besaid or Macalania.

Also one major problem I came across

Yeah I thought I'd be able to beat Valefore but I couldn't. I took around 200,000HP off him I think but he still didn't die. I did my own Valefore's overdrive which took 85,000 and I also did Bahamut's overdrive which took 70,000. Then I did a Wakka's 'Attack Reels' overdrive which took about 50,000, maybe even more. A few ultimas and flares I thought would finish him off but unfortunately it didn't and he did that massive overdrive (not energy ray - the one that takes 50,000 off each character). That's his only move that takes over 9999 and since Wakka has 12,000HP on my game, he still couldn't withstand it. I think I'll try that Zanmato thing. I didn't think the amount of Gil affected what move he did.

Errr....items? I didn't know you gave items at Remiem Temple. I saw that forcefield at the back and guessed you could get in there though. Do you get the Magus Sisters at Baaj Temple, then?

vottanator --- I thought I couldnt get the final two aeons "Anima" and "Magus Sisters" too because I didnt bother getting all the hidden items in each temple throughout the game. However, you can definately still get them...

All your have to do is go back to every temple in the game and find the hidden chest within (you need to find destruction spheres to do this). You cannot re-enter Bevelle therefore by going back to Zanarkand you should find a new puzzle in the area before defeating Yunalesca. You need to light up all the square grids on the floor. Once done a destruction sphere appears giving you access to opening the chest missed at Bevelle. Also one major problem I came across when re-entering the other temples is that some are guarded by dark Aeons. I think Valefor guards Besaid temple and Shiva guards hers. The only easy way I defeated these was to get Yojimbo on limit break and pay him all of youre money. He should do Zanmoto, killing them straight away. If he doesnt, just reset until he does it. I also found that dark Shiva never gives you a turn in battle, therefore one of youre characters should be equipped with a weapon which enables "first contact".

Once you have all the other hidden items, just go to Remiem temple and each statue should light up accordingly. If not , then just retrace which items you havent got. Once done, you should get Anima.

Well, you've got a hell of a game to play through.

I just completed it about half an hour ago. It took me 90 hours! However I really wish I hadn't completed it now. It just feels like there's nothing left for me to play for and there is so much more I have to do.

Plus, you don't get to save it at the end and you don't get to run around after you've completed it. It just says "The End" and then it stops on that screen and you have to reset it.

I think that means that it is impossible for me to get back into Bevelle now so I don't think I can get that Aeon I want. And that is extremely annoying.

And there was something I noticed on the credits too. The guy who does the voice for Isaaru in FFX is the guy who did the voice for Raiden in MGS2 - Quinton Flynn. It's a bit strange that they sound NOTHING alike! :-D

Anyway, I have a question. In the Calm Lands, there is a woman that guards some sort of slope leading down into that huge canyon. She says she isn't moving unless something really unique happens and you can't get past her. So, how do you move her in order to get past?

And I got a Celestial Weapon too. For Auron. I only had the Mars Sigil. I had pretty much all the Crests but ony one sigil so his was the only one I could upgrade tot he max. I was a bit disappointed in the weapon though. Triple Overdrive and Break Max Damage were nice, but the other 2 slots were just Counter Attack and something else which wasn't too impressive.

Oh well, having played it all the way through I can now safely say that Ocarina of time has been beaten. I thought that would be impossible for anything other than a Zelda game but I was wrong. FFX is now my favourite game ever.

FF11 better not be purely online. If it is, I fear it will suck compared to FFX.

Vottantor, you misinterpreted my comments.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't love YOU, but your updates on the game, simply because it lets me now how many hours of play I'm in for when I finish exams.

I think you'll find it is glad I do not live near you.

That's what the Sun Crest and Sun Sigil are for - for each character there is a celestial weapon, and two other items. If you have the two other required items, go back to Macalania forest where you got the celestial mirror, use them and it'll take away the No AP ability and fill in the blank slots with awesome abilities.
