Bottas had a nightmare session, being nearly 0.7 seconds behind Raikkonen after his new engine ran into problems after a water leak and missed most of the session as his old engine from the first 4 races was put back in his car.
Vettel also suffered engine problems at the end of the session, stopping in the pit land as he was going out for his final run and had to be pushed back into the garage. Ferrari have said that they "are replacing some parts of his engine".
Alonso unsurprisingly also appears to be coming to the end of his tether with the McLaren engine, as it's reported that after his engine blew after just three corners of first practice he completely blanked the Honda boss as he tried to talk to him.
Hopefully Mercedes will be back to how they were performing in the first two practice sessions for qualifying and the Ferrari turnaround for third practice will be turned around again.
Meanwhile the woes continue for McLaren and Alonso as he manages just three corners in first practice before his car suffered major engine failure due to an oil leak. After an engine change in second practice he comes last by 0.5 seconds. I bet he can't wait to disappear off to America for the Indycars.
An interesting article here on all the upgrades the teams have made to their cars. Will they work to the teams advantage or not and will we have a major shake up in the finishing positions compared to the first 4 races? We'll find out on Sunday!
Definitely a weekend to forget for Hamilton, coming in a massive 36 seconds behind Bottas in 4th.
Vettel extends his lead at the top of the drivers standings and Bottas propels himself right up there with them. What a great start to the season so far, let's hope it continues!

Ferrari absolutely dominated practice sessions 2 and 3 and if they carry that form into qualifying the only outcome can be a Ferrari front row.
Don't want to say I told you so...........
After Hamilton's start on his final lap I thought he was on for pole, and was shocked when he only came out in 4th. Mercedes have it all to do in the race which I can only see Ferrari dominating.

Red Bull appear to be having problems with their engines, this time Riccardio crawling to a halt, while Renault suffered an exhaust-gas leak around the gearbox, melting part of the chassis.
If practice is anything to go by Ferrari will be extremely hard to beat this weekend.
Probably one of the strangest things someone's carried on board a plane in a suitcase!
