I was going through the archive earlier and came across Turbo’s Web Design Pledge. Although I can vaguely remember this when it happened, I thought nothing of it, but upon reading it again, something really caught my eye.

“However, the forum is just being "used". Where as forums like the FOG are ever-popular, with people visiting regularly and generally having fun, the Web Design forum is merely being "used" for question and such like. Well, no longer! I want to turn this forum into a proper community.”

He is right here, this forum is only really used by people wanting questions answered, but I think that this forum is probably the best on the site. Mainly because nearly everyone in here knows what they are talking about. But I don’t like how the forum is used just for questions.

So here is what I propose, we use this thread for general chat. Not just web design, anything at all. Since not many people pass through this forum anymore, it won’t get spammed up too much, it’ll just be a place where people can go to be themselves.

If it doesn’t work, then fine. I just think this thread will be able to make this forum more of a community.

So… what’s up everyone? :0)

Your plan is scarily similar to mine. I'll do rubbish in English Lit because I always rely on Word to spell for me. Ahh well, I seem to be good at blagging my way through things so the GCSEs should be no exception... I hope.

:D.

My first exams are on Monday. Geography and English Lit. Geography is easy, got a good coursework grade so I can afford to screw up but I hate English Lit. It sucks.

Revision? Oh, revision, yes... it's going well :).

*bahs at you for posting on here when you could quite easily tell me on MSN :D*

It'll teach them a lesson for going down once in a blue moon :D. I don't think they like people finding faults with their site, remember when everyone put images on the forums. monkey_man got banned for the weekend because of that :D.

tut tut tut, don't you think that if you post here about it they might follow it up, heh.

Tis nice to see you taking advantage of SR :) they'd probably encourage you trying to find faults with their site though ;)

That should do nicely.

It's still a Crows lyric and it's got the added bonus of annoying RBS.

I've had it for ages though, so I could do with a change.

Still got the page saved if I need to have a 20+ one again anyway :D.

I got mine deleted morning. So I just put it back.

They don't follow it up.

Bah, it seems as if SR didn't like my 20+ tagline. Ahh well, I'll have to think of another one now.
