Or as it is otherwise known - The MLB Thread

So Yankees, as always busy around deadline day and were quite successful. Abreu and Lidle for a bunch of minor league prospects of which only Smith looks half decent. Don't know too much about Lidle to be honest but Abreu will give another strong bat and some experienced coverage for Sheffield while he's out injured (and more than likely replace him for next season) Also picked up Craig Wilson for Chacon to give us another strong bat. Had him in my MVP Baseball 2005 team as well actually. Might mean Andy Phillips doesn't get as much time as he should though which is a shame.

Red Sox and Jays did nothing and we kept hold of Cano, Melky and Phillips so a good trade deadline time all around for the Yanks

Pettitte had a decent start, though the fielding errors weren't helping and ended up costing us the game. Something for Torre and co to work on

Dice K with a decent start. NASN are showing a Yankee game Monday night. Will have to watch that. I think they are showing 3 games back to back.

Blue Jays won 1 lost 1 so far, I think this season they'll again be just that bit behind the Yankees along with Boston.

Last season it was their away form that let them down as they were equal with NY at home but much more inferior away.

Not a stellar performance from Santana last night but he got the win and I suppose that's all that matters in the end.

They are showing the LA V Brewers match tonight.

It's the American commentators. It's basically ESPN coverage with NASN adverts during the breaks.

Does it have the proper American commentary or do they have commentators of their own?

NASN is great. I saw the start of the Yankee game, had to go out, then saw the Boston game and I'm now watching the Twins V Baltimore. Santana is on the mound.

Are you still looking for baseball gear? Apparently, nasn.com sell baseball gear.

I just watched the Boston game. Schilling was getting hit a lot and was out of the game after 4 innings. Meche was great for the Royals and they really shut down Boston's power.
