So Yankees, as always busy around deadline day and were quite successful. Abreu and Lidle for a bunch of minor league prospects of which only Smith looks half decent. Don't know too much about Lidle to be honest but Abreu will give another strong bat and some experienced coverage for Sheffield while he's out injured (and more than likely replace him for next season) Also picked up Craig Wilson for Chacon to give us another strong bat. Had him in my MVP Baseball 2005 team as well actually. Might mean Andy Phillips doesn't get as much time as he should though which is a shame.
Red Sox and Jays did nothing and we kept hold of Cano, Melky and Phillips so a good trade deadline time all around for the Yanks
Taking one game off the Angels isn't so bad. The 6 games against Boston coming up will be key. 4 game set against Detroit again next I think.
Got my 360 back. Well, I say my 360. They sent a replacement.
Pettitte stops the sweep and Joba continues to bring all sorts of awesome. 100mph fastball and a slider that is just plain NASTY = the replacement for Mo :-D
Ah well with my recent Vlad Angels jersey purchase and me already owning a Yankees jersey come october i'll have a jersey to wear for the World Series champs :-D
The Angels living up to the reputation of being the bogey team of the Yankees. A-Rod homered twice as well in an 18-9 loss.
Hahahhaha at Saudi Arabia having a little league team though.
Getting my 360 back at some point next week, hopefully. They sent an email so I hope it's true. :)
