...Super Mario Land 3D reviews have scored higher (from IGN and EuroGamer at least) than both MW3 and BF3.

It would be very scary for high street shops, who survive on second hand sales. In return MS (or anyone doing the same) would lose a good source of in-your-face advertising if traditional games shops disappeared from the high street.

Plus, it would be counter-productive to green issues, with no way to recycle old games once they are completed.

Had a look at that, does look interesting. Don't know if there is any truth in the second hand games rumour but unless there was a significant drop in prices I could see casual gamers losing interest in gaming.

Next Xbox console to feature Blu Ray but may not play used games?

It's from Kotaku though, which means take it with a huge trailerload of salt. That site went down hill a couple of years ago.

Having said that, it would make sense to go with Bluray, there's no reason not to considering that the drives are much faster now.

However, this is an interesting speculation of the specs.

Pre-ordered Skyward Sword with the golden remote, not really because I want the remote or anything but because I know that Nintendo are going to give me the Zelda I've been waiting for since Wind Waker and they deserve WAY more than thirty bucks for that

If I could go back in time and kick myself in the balls I so would right now

Never played a Dizzy game before, but I only know it because of Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation, who used to say it was his favourite game of all time (although probably just yolking :P)

I've been playing it and it's certainly a retro trip. On-screen controls aren't bad either, though not as precise as using a keyboard.

I can't say whether San Andreas was great, but I was addicted to gaining billions in the casino, training up RPG elements by going to the gym, passing flying and driving classes and I can remember sky diving from a plane into a dam to do a stealth mission. It certainly was more addictive than GTA 4, but I can't say thats a good thing.

I concur Nin, San Andreas did indeed suck. The whole ghetto image of the entire game ticked me off. (ie. SA was all about retarded 'street cred' and 'the hood', which I couldn't care less about

It was a standard rags to riches GTA story set against a different contextual backdrop. You have a problem with ebonics or something?
