"Nintendo's conference was like a retirement home for classic game developers as Toru Iwatani, the brains behind Pac-Man, played on-stage against Mario wunderkind, Shigeru Miyamoto, who is currently working on an all-new Pac-Man title.
Refreshingly self-critical, the assembled masses were told of the mistakes the big N made with marketing the GameCube, and the difficulty the traditionally family-orientated company was having in appealing to modern, gore-obsessed players.
But their president, Satoru Iwata, in a nod to the Grand Theft Auto series, assured Nintendo-philes: "You won't see Mario shoot a hooker".
And while we were assured the GameCube had a rosy future, its successor is already officially in development."
*chuckles*
Best. Star Wars game. Ever.

Not difficult at all.
It's fun because I'm bored at work and the response is immediate, red-faced hissing and nappy soiling.
Dance like a bear!

If you're gonna count thrid party exclusives then Nintendo actually showed for the first time.
Geist
Resident Evil 4
Metal Gear Solid : TS
Mario Kart: DD
Crappy GBA Connectivity rubbish
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Ultimate Muscle (BEST GAME EVER)
Kirby's Air Ride
Mario Golf
Mario Party 5
And a few more that i've forgotten to mention.
Though undoubtably Nintendo had a pretty rubbish show in terms of big announcements.

In what way was that a retarded comment? I didn't see anything I'd consider to be any good from Microsoft this E3, and all I was stating was that simple fact. I saw around two or three games from Microsoft at E3 - no more, no less. So justify 'retarded comment' to me.

Nintendo could've done better? Out of that list, I'll be getting one of those items you mentioned. One. Out of Nintendo's showings at E3, I'll be getting around 5 or 6. Now I know this is down to opinion, but so is your comment that Nintendo could've done better at E3. I partially agree that neither Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo had a good E3 showing, but out of the three, I felt Nintendo's was the strongest.

Lordy.
Ok, a Fanboy by definition is a person that gets heated about his or her chosen subject and will go apoplectic if anyone criticises said item.
As I have expressed zero preference for a competitor's product, I cannot be classed as a fanboy.
Troll, certainly, but not fanboy.
Were I to say "Hahaha, Xbox gets Halo 2! Halo 2 smashed Gaycube's a**e" then yep, fair enough to suggest that I was.
However, merely saying "Based on my personal experiences of Nintendo from their old systems, right through the N64 to Gamecube I find them to be a company of limited scope and playability" cannot, by any stretch of the imagination, class me as "fanboy"
It's not that hard to understand is it?
If you don't like the Gamecube then don't click on the Ninty Forum hyperlink. Is that too difficult for you?

Thats quite a retarded comment, AfroJoe, I did'nt expect you'd come out with something like that.
Microsoft did show quite alot of stuff at E3, Not as many announcements as last year maybe, but they did make quite a few, including:-
Actual demo of Halo 2, which is highly anticipated.
Project Gotham Racing 2
Fable
Star Wars Galaxies
Xbox "Media Maker"
Doom 3
Ninja Gaiden
Xbox Live information
Dead or Alive online
I'm not saying they was big debuts at the show, Microsoft did show quite a few things though. Esepcially Halo 2.
I feel that none of the "big 3" had an excellent show, but Nintendo could of at least done better. They only showed some lame GBA-GC connectivity games and a few other things.
