"Why am I not interested in Xbox Live?"

I'm not bothered about it, but I'm beginning to question why not.

I truly don't like first person shooter frag fests - running around in circles blasting, blasting, blasting - gives me a headache.
I'm not that bothered about racing cars around circuits and coming first, coming last, whatever.

So I'm not interested. Should I be? Am I missing out?
Do I have a blinkered view of the whole online gaming thing?

I don't think I'll ever sign up. Maybe a massive online RPG will sway me like Star Wars Galaxies....? - but it probably won't.

Shooting and racing - that's all I see, and that's not enough to get me interested.

To be fair, I've only played for about two hours.

And my taste in games is no worse than yours.

Maybe, but think of all the games he critiscises and the ones he praises.

In all fairness its not the easiest of games to settle into. Thankfully I enjoyed it from the word go and haven't even stopped to think of the games down falls once. Nearly with every game I get I always go over what could have been done to add to the game. With SOA:L I have just been thinking about where I can go next etc. It was a game tailor made for my likings. I have been looking for something like SOA:L since Final Fantasy 7 on the PSONE.

The wall through to Maramba and Nasr can be broken through depending on how powerful your ship is. Without giving away too many spoilers I can't really go into detail about the upgrades etc which one of the ships under goes. Its all worth it for those extra few hours you put in at the beginning of the game.

The sailing is a bit overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. The area looks huge, but I don't like those inpenetrable walls of cloud and the like.

Oh, and remember when I couldn't get onto the ship? That's because I was trying to get on the main, big one. Not the little one. Heh!

At first it jumps around too much as there isn't really any aim to Vyse and Aika's journey. Wait until you finish Valua and then come back and see what you think. I can guarantee that you won't be able to put it down :)

I'll think I'll give it a good ten hours like Ali recommends before I give up on it.

I'm going to try and get 2 xboxes online if i can get them online through one superfast line...

Going online with your friends, it's got to be great.
