I'm not bothered about it, but I'm beginning to question why not.

I truly don't like first person shooter frag fests - running around in circles blasting, blasting, blasting - gives me a headache.
I'm not that bothered about racing cars around circuits and coming first, coming last, whatever.

So I'm not interested. Should I be? Am I missing out?
Do I have a blinkered view of the whole online gaming thing?

I don't think I'll ever sign up. Maybe a massive online RPG will sway me like Star Wars Galaxies....? - but it probably won't.

Shooting and racing - that's all I see, and that's not enough to get me interested.

No way will it be £6 based on that information, plus PC users are being screwed over additional cash for the space expansion already !

They should allow individual hoasts like on Counter Strike then. That would erase the need for monthly costs.

Nah, it's going to be £6. Which I think is fair - just the price of a monthly magazine, for example. The servers don't run themselves, I suppose.

Up to £15. I don't see what the fuss is about it, just another milking of Lucas's licences.

£15?

That's insane. Galaxies sounds good on paper but from the footage i've seen and the IGN video review I watched, it looks really dull.

I know of a guy who plays everquest like 24/7 when he's on holiday.

It's a MMORPG, what other focus will it have?

£15? That is the biggest load of bull they have said this year. No one in the world would pay £15 a month to play an online game. I don't even think the biggest of Star Wars fans would do that. Hell, you could get a mediocre SKY package for that and the fact that online play won't be its only focus just makes it sound even more ridiculous.

Ah, but will you be so keen once you hear about how much Lucas Arts will charge you for the privilige ? An article in EGM suggests it could be anything up to £15 a month to play...on top of Live subs as well.
