I want somewhere to stick my thoughts on the Formula 1 season as it progresses so I'm going to do that here. Feel free to join me if you want.

I think it does because you kind of expect it with Ozzy Osbourne. I was watching the Madden launch on the net and Ozzy Osbourne was his usual swearing self.

Yeah, just saw the video, pretty funny. Doesn't quite beat the time Ozzy Osbourne swore on the grid in Canada though, does it? :)

Those who didn't watch it live missed Mark Webber swearing after he got hit by Vettel. It's on Youtube though. :)

It was a tough race but the Fuji track seemed to give a fair amount of grip despite the conditions. Alonso's crash makes a third World title seem unlikely but anything can happen.

I got back to my flat at 4 after a night out, but being currently minus a TV, missed the race; real shame, as it looked like a real corker.

Ah, I'm currently TV-less so I only found out when I got up. Well done to Vettel as well, but Button's quality in the rain once again shows through!

Ahhhh, the wonderful mountain mist causing problems. It got to the point where the track had reached a phase where times could not improve because the mist and drizzle were keeping the track at the point.

Hamilton pinched it at the death, almost collecting someone in the process. Button in 6th just shows how good a driver he is.

Possibilities of similar conditions for the race which would make the downhill first corner a lottery.

I stayed up for the qualifying and only really just got up. :)

I'd say advantage McLaren after practise. They easily had the fastest times of the day. I think it should be a lot closer come Saturday.

Hamilton confirmed that McLaren want Hamilton to win the Drivers Championship and are favouring him. Not sure how true that is.

I'll agree with that too, but Raikonnen should at least narrow the gap between him and the McLarens.

And to speculate a bit lower down in the championship, I'd expect Rosberg to end up ahead of Fisichella if he continues to be consistent, maybe Webber will get ahead of Wurz if his car doesn't disintegrate too much.
