So I created a new one, for those that didn't throw it against the wall months ago.

I thought we could start up some kind of small forum league, featuring the best five scores for each chapter and a total. Something like this:

Chapter One:
1. Blank: 89 000 000 000 000
2. Valentino Rossi: 1
3. Whitestripes: 0
4. Cookie Monster: No score low enough
5. Someone else with a vague interest: Even lower.

Only there probably aren't enough people willing. But anyway, we need a new Ikaruga thread, so here it is. My chapter one highscore is now 3.5 million, 113 chain, if anyone cares.

Would I be right in thinking you mean 1-3? The bit where there are rows of ships like this:

Then they rotate to this:

..WBWB..

And back again repeatedly? I'm not sure from your description, but if it is this here's what I do and it works well. When you've killed off the second row of small enemies before you get to this, line yourself up with row three from the left (the second row of blacks, first row of blacks with four in). Destroy all of these, move left and get the other row before they swap over to the second pattern. Now what you see should be three rows of whites without any black in between. Scroll right and annihilate them. When you're about to fire at the blacks stop firing but keep scrolling to get to the last whites which should be at the end, and once you've killed them it's just blacks, so kill them and bullet eat.

You should be black the whole way through, and it will take some practice to get it right. Especially the bit where you have to hit the third row of whites quickly without touching the blacks. But if you do it quickly enough you'll be rewarded with three bonus rows of enemies. One white row from the left, one black from the right, then another white from the left.

Im having trouble with the bit where there are about 6 rows of baddies, their ship colour goes brown, white, brown, white etc.. its just before the bit where there are ships coming from the left and right and you have to stray just off centre to keep your chain going.

No, i will try again just now.

I think installing is a bit dodgy on a college network. Better not.

just double click on the downloaded file, it will install itself and should work fine (may need a reboot but I don't think so) are you still having problems ?

And after I've got Divx?

Not sure why, I will download it now at work and see what happens, no-ones moaned before.

I had a bit of bother on your website Valentino.

I tried to download Snap's chp 1 video again, but when i got to about 12% or something it came up that the download was complete.
