Despite naff graphics I am loving this Skies game. Picked it up along with 3 other games (see my £50 in cambridge thread) for a mere £19 and I can't imagine a closer RPG alternative to Zelda. Vast, expansive, encourages exploration and a deep story. In fact as storylines go it moves at a far faster pace than that Wind Waker game.

Great game, feels a bit like Starfox to play (not quite sure why) but of course i mean that in a good way.

If you can find it buy it. You won't regret it. Roll on Skies 2.

Yar - I've only used Etern.. spells about 3 times, predictably they're not going to work very often. But you can kill most things normally before the spell actually works.

Got my special engine, now I'm going to get the rest of the discoveries. Just past 50 hours

Nah, the game was in very short supply when it was released.

SR, and many other retailers just stopped getting it in because it was so hard to get hold of.

All those things are (usually) crap.

Noxi, Etern.., half of Fina's special moves - they don't work on the hard enemies, and you don't need them on the easy ones.

Ah well.

Hey looks like i caught up with you a tad, coz that's exactly where i am now. but i do have the advantage of playied the game twice over already.

BTW the best attack on bosses now other than specials is definetly Eternum, it can kill Zyvilin Banes instantly so they won't be anymore hassle anymore.

Base.
It says so in the instructions.

And I'm just about to find the lands of ice. Pretty good going, eh?

Having a base rocks muchly. Especially upgrading everything, it looks so pretty now.
