As we seem to have a thread for most of the big games, I thought we may as well have one for this behemoth of a game - so if you have any ideas, favourite ways to play the game or just want to pass comment on what already appears to be a fantastic and absorbing game - please post here.
If you want to discuss the plot or other aspects of the storyline - remember to use the
first off...I'm liking the combat system now - no definite turn based combat? Action seems to be constant even though you have to select your moves. Brilliant?
This stupid **** $$YWW q R TQATGA TGETGA game is doing my tree in now. Soooo very close to no longer enjoying it and calling it quits. That would be a sad first :(
I'm posting this because, usually, as soon as I complain about something I solve it and feel daft ><

barthendules is the boss's name
I'm fairly certain that you cannot miss the first one as it is part of a mission (the tower one you mentioned), similar to the first one in the field and the last one before you head into Chapter 12. If memory serves there is a teleport in the room before the final boss which allows you back to the field.
Warhunt? I think I am at the end, or very close to the end, of chapter 11 (or maybe 12). Do you recommend I turn around and go back to the field now or is there going to be an easier way to return later in the game?
Probably didn't need the spoiler button but heyho
When he starts laughing and building up (it might be destrudo or smile actually......) PUMMEL him with everything you have. After a round or so, he will stagger back (the action not stagger gauge ;) )..... noticeably and grunt.
Switch to Defensive paradigm and the move does 50% damage, and with your bonuses with Sentinel.... almost nothing. The move after, just stay defensive, and the healing should cope through it....
The second time he was at approximately 10,000HP remaining, having just staggered him, he starts casting of Destrudo, which, of course (rather cheaply) removes stagger status. I am then, from full health, one hit KO'd from Destrudo...can't say I was too pleased with that...

K, thanks. I know there are only 6 pages but that saves me trawling backwards with one eye closed :)
I think darksoul is talking about the Primarch Bar(something). I remember defeating that by pure luck and lots of teeth gnashing
