No, my point was it's almost 3 years since the consol's release... and the best u have is a demo??? (well, one of the best)

The point of demo's is to give you a chance to try before you buy, Sony send me free ones all the time. This demo gives you an oputinity to play a small section before it's released and is a good reason to buy ZOE.
Since the GC is discs then for the first time Nintendo owners will be able to use them.

Mecha fighter... no better than Virtual ON
, StarFighter,
On other consoles
Crazy Taxi
I have the sequal on my DC
UT, Quake 3
Errrr.... offline only! What is the point!
MGS2 Demo??
Demo? What's the point? Fact is MGS2 will be one of the best games ever. BUT, only a dozen excellent games within about 2 years of release ain't that good! Remember the PS2 came out in march 2000 in japan... which means development times of about 2years 8months by the time MGS2 comes out... there should be several games in the top quality margin (ie Zelda level). But there aren't. that's all u need to know.
Als, sequels are

GT3 is not a sequal. It was to be called GT2000, and then GT3 would be made later which would be a true sequal (like Virtua Stricker 2 version2, or PSO version 2). However, Sony DEMANDED that the game be called GT3. Even though the producer says himself that it was just an update and not a true sequal!
What are the alternatives to PS2? Well, DC. For people who know lots about games this is a must have. Reason- it has so many original and great games that even if it were to stop games production this second, then it would have enbough games ot merrit buying.
Then there is GC... which has one big thing on the PS2- exclusive excellent games (Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Starfox, and all the rest).
And the Xbox... which we'll have to wait and see. (In fact the xbox has just as much known about it as the GC... next to nothing!... just that we know that the GC had ninty games)

In early 2000 i was looking for a hi-fi so i could use my MD deck through the digi out then i learned that this was on the PS2, I was gagging for a dvd player and this is here too. I have a very large heap of about 50+ PSone games and they can be enhanced on the PS2.
so £300 was a killer deal for a Sony CD player,DVD player,Psone and PS2 bargain for the situation i was in.
there's only about maximum 10 games that i want that are out there at the mo but the games i'm really after silent hill 2,alone in the dark 4,Res CVX,devil may cry aren't released but there's plently of games lie GT3,red faction, onimusha etc to keep people occupied but the really good games oops forgot MGS2 aren't here just yet.
Sony didn't make their dev kits hard, it's just they're different. The PS2 is really good because it's different. The GC isn't special because it's standard.
Everyone has said PS2 games are hardly using any of it's potential even cybernet but the games are getting better but we're all just getting a bit impatient.
some games out there are very good but nothing has shown us completly what the PS2 can do.
has anyone seen the water effects on the free demo disc? now thats nice
> I have to agree. What is childish about the N64 ? Also, N64 has had some high quality games that have yet to meet their match on the PS1.
The Gamecube may be 'so easy a child could program it' but surely that is a good thing ? Now developers will have an easier time developing better games, so who looses ?
Just for the record, I've been a Nintendo fan for a long time now, but I also have PS1 and PS2. So I do not think I am biased.
