Morning all.

I appreciate people will be busy this morning but it someone could provide a likely ETA for normal service it would be much appreciated - either on the Status page or here?

Thanks in advance.
NB. twitter.com/Freeola would work well for Service updates and if the outage was affecting your website you could still reach the world :¬)

Your right about everyone being frustrated and with good reason.
We need our e-mails.

However I can also understand Freeola's point too. The job seems to be a nightmare and us nagging and complaining isn't helping them.

I can see both sides and I'll give them a little more slack. But we really need more regular up-dates.

My update clearly said should in italics when saying it should be up in an hour. As it is there are problems with the RAID array which is in place to act a backup to try and prevent this happening again. We need to try and get this right or we'll be back to square 1 when the server goes online.

I know a friend who is with BT Business broadband his email was not working for 3 weeks!

Your right to complain but it has to be fair - and i think the customer service you get from Freeola is good lets face it you call them up ( in to the call centre) they take your call they are polite and they explain to you what they will do, some things they can resolve right way from the call centre, other things need escalated, this one needed escalated so its immediately taken out of their hands, they are now at the mercy of others, do you honestly think they are sitting in Freeola towers doing nothing about this?

i currently have a helicopter in transit with a life threatening neo-natal transfer from opposite ends of the country, and our medical team are having to convey information via mobile phone!! not good a) when in the air and b) when theres equipment that can be interfered with such signals. all because of issues with email!!! LOL

i certainly hope this never happens again. Again I am accountable to a hospital and also the childs parents!

an update on the site would help. we dont need individual emails at this stage A post on this forum said issues will be resolved in an hour, 7 mins later there is an update on the service update page saying they cant give a time.

Agreed. it's awful to think that sick or injured people are getting caught up in this nightmare.

The quotes wont need to go out straight away, am not sure how they can email you if they dont have a signal? and if they do have a signal then they can phone, I understand every ones frustration I am also waiting on emails but I do beleive that Freeola have done every thing to chase this up I think the problem is out with freeola and am sure once its resolved that Freeola will be being angry at their support team.
