Best Classic Doctor: Late 7th Doctor - when the stories got darker and the character really developed into something more than just a Timelord.
Best DVD: The Invasion
Best New Doctor Who Episode: Army of Ghosts / Doomsday

Yeah I like to keep up with what's going on with Dr Who :)
Tennant 'is leaving Doctor Who'
Can't say I'm suprised, I'd love to moan that it's annoying when the actors only want to do it for a year or 3 (maybe) but then pb will just come along and say "that's nothing new" (Davison, Baker, McCoy). Oh well 3 series is better than 1 and it's more about feeling sad than annoyed as I think David is a pretty good Doctor.
Hopefully the 11th Doctor will be another good choice. As for all the celebrity guests I'm still not happy about it, but as long as it keeps the series a ratings winner (and on the air) then I shouldn't really complain.
I think the new Sontaran looks good. I've only seen Time Warrior, the Sontaran in that was very dark skinned, I think in later episodes they were more paler.
I'm please to hear Davros is coming back and oh the guy who did the Wombles, Bernard Cribbins he's doing a guest appearance in the Christmas special isnt he? That's a great choice as I loved him in the Dr Who movie which he did 41 years ago! ^^ You guy's probably won't remember him.

Also, shame to hear about Verity Lambert who died on Friday. Without her (and Sydney Newman), Doctor Who may never have been so popular or even existed in the way we know it.

Three companions?
I always wanted there to be more than just the female companion but now we have three returning companions. Donna, Martha and Rose. I'm not sure about this :S I wouldnt mind having more guys on apart from Ricky and Captain Jack.

I don't really know how these casting decisions are made, or if the casting system is a normal one, ie: people just apply via a screentest etc.
Either way, Lily Allen does have an acting background and it's only recently that she's gone into music. If she's anyway as good as her father, then she'll be alright.

Apparently there just aren't enough female actresses in the UK anymore. So they have to hire singers from the music industry instead.

Another rumour is that John Sims will play the doctor in series 5. Completely unfounded and unlikely though...
And Kylie's character is Astrid Perth, which just has to be an anagram...

-Kylie's character will eventually turn out to be a physical embodiment of the Tardis. This one doesnt seem likely to me. I'd guess whoever thought this up has been watching too many episodes of Andromeda. :)
-Next season's finale will involve Davros, Rose and another Doctor. Possible I suppose, Davros turning up at some point has a certain inevitability about it.
