Mainly as Machie and I seem to spend half the time on the WLT chatting about Doctor Who...

Here's my current favourites;

Best Classic Episode: Genesis of the Daleks (Tom Baker)

Best Classic Doctor: Late 7th Doctor - when the stories got darker and the character really developed into something more than just a Timelord.

Best DVD: The Invasion

Best New Doctor Who Episode: Army of Ghosts / Doomsday

thanks for the info, I'll try to get the uncut versions.

Do you know when the doctor is returning to our screens?

I think it's around march?

The 7pm versions are cut because of the watershed and to keep watchful parents happy.

So the only difference is you might find a lack of suspence or graphic detail in the 7pm version.

whats this??? two versions???

I've got the second episode sitting on my Sky+ box and I can get the first episode from the BBC Website (Althought I haven't actually looked for it yet). How do I get the uncut versions?

I watched the one where they froze the women, I thought it was quite good, and a nice fresh change from your basic dr who.

At the very least it'll do until mr tennant returns to I'd.

First 2 episodes have been pretty good, better than most of the last season in fact. Good to see James Marsters in it too.

Interesting to see the difference between the 'cut' 7pm version and the full version of each episode though.

is anyone watching torchwood?

I saw the last season but haven't seen any of the new one yet.

The last season was only ok, not brilliant and nothing compared to doctor who!

No official press releases as yet (you can find them all here.)

I'm expecting it to be around March/April at the earliest.

I told you it looked bad having all these returning companions :)

When does the new series start, do you know pb?

Trying to work out how they work everyone coming back in to the plot. It sounds suspiciously like a lead-up to a regeneration.

So far we have the end episode looking like a big reunion party: Martha, Rose, Capt Jack, Sarah Jane...

That's my current theory anyway.
