No details yet, but it's apparently been in development since 2002. There's loads of exclusive info about it in the October issue of Game Informer, so I guess when that comes out we'll be able to get all the first bits of info and screenshots of it.
This has gone right up to near the top of my most wanted list that's for sure.
He means "the boots of blinding speed", which you need a high magicka resistance to use effectively. They can be obtained as a reward in return for escorting a lost lady to Maar Gan (I think).
She's somewhere in the ashlands, if my memory serves me correctly. Try gamefaqs for a more reliable and precise guide.
Plus they are not only speedy boots but flying boots as they have a 50pt levitating affect for 20 seconds on self.
......where?
I got that Balmora mansion. I killed the bloke and nabbed it. Ain't been there for days though, been in the wild, spearing those GOD DAMN BIRDS and hacking at foul bandits.

are you on about the boots of the apostle?

the trick is to make her wait outside while you tack care of all the guys inside including the necromancer and then take her inside to complete the mission then go back to the fighter's guild to claim eward and possible advancement.
I just started a new game after almost mastering how to actually use mods and have decided to avoid using too many balmora expansion mods as some of them conflict with my balmora mansion from the morrowind abodes website which is like the best house you can get to live in in balmora, plus it's in the most often used and spacious city in the game for easy living.
I need them.
Just wandered into some dungeon called Vas, with some trollope who gets herself killed in 3 seconds, leaving me to fight vampires.
Level 10 now, getting better definitly. Tell you what though, it's IMPOSSIBLE to remember what you were doing if you leave the game a few days, as the journal is just crap.
I did make Guild Master and had a house built, but I just lost interest with having to cover vast swathes of land. Even with the boots of speedy blindstuff, I thought "meh" and simply turned myself into a werewolf and tried to savage every single NPC I could see.
Good game, but could've done with a wee bit less travelling.
> Just been playing bog-standard Morrowind on the Xbox.
Didn't the X-Box version come with both the expansion packs as well? Though I could be thinking about the Gold Edition.
I haven't completed Morrowing eithert, it's been a while since I last played it, though I've been meaning to get around to getting those two expansion packs as well so may give it another go in preporation for it's sequel.
Really is good if you actually play it enough to stay involved.
