I've just completed it and my god what a game, you may remember me moaning about the random battles they are annoying but get past that and you have SUCH a bloody gem of a game I LOVED IT.
It stands alongside Final Fantasy 7 and Zelda in my ALL TIME favourite games,to think I actually sold it the first time I bought it and decided recently to buy it again second hand off ebay to see if I can tolerate it better!
Anyway as I've said I've been reading how this game hasn't sold so well because it's "unknown" unlike the Final Fantasy series and what a DAMN shame cos the likelihood of a sequel is slim because it didn't sell so well :(
Crap seems part of the overworks team is in the Sonic team producing other games.. DAMN YOU SEGA DAMN YOU.

Well with Gamecubes now availiable for £79.99 there has never been a better time to get one! Blork.

Oh and Fox, I was only talking if Skies 2 was ever going to come into existance. Which it won't. Weeples :(

It's a combination of both. Most of my games crash at random intervals, but Skies has a wee nick in the middle, barely noticable, and most lasers would flick over it and the game would jump, but because mine sucks, it doesn't.

Metroid, mario, Zelda, F-Zero, Super MOnkey Ball, Rogue Leader, NBA Street 2 are all in perfect nick, with no marks or anything, but they still crash.

hmm... firstly were not even sure whether the game will get a sequel due to poor sales and secondly i thought it was quite dignified hearing that he had just passed away in old age after along stressfull quest to hunt down his sons killer. Deaths like that arnt all too common in video game storylines so I personally think it was quite a gracefull way to put the character of Drachma to rest...

It'd be the disc surely, not the GC.

Why kill him off, I mean, what's the point?

They should have left him alive for a meaningful death in Skies 2.

I don't know what makes me more sad, knowing that Drachma dies of old age, or knowing that I'll never be able to play it again, because it always crashes during the sequence going into the Temple Of Pyrryn.

My GC sucks balls.

I think I actually cried when the credits rolled past at the end and it said that drachma had died of old age! He was such a brilliant character! So much emotion... the tears flood out once more

You can beat that boss without it.. I seemed to find those Ixa Taxa Demons much harder than most of the bosses but if this game was any harder I think I'd get frustrated.

ou sure, I thought it was Vyse and Gilder, Fina and Aika.

I had learnt Pirates Wrath by Daccats island, so the final boss in it was simple.
Looked difficult withuot it though.
