Thought we could do with a place.

First on the agenda, there will be no talk of Newcastle. Except, of course, the Jenas affair.

Why and where? They have Carrick and Davids in the centre, both of whom are pretty much irreplacable. Reid is good on the left, Routledge on the right. Besides, Jenas can't play there. Tell me why.

Oh, and Solano might be going to Newcastle too. Excellent news, if you ask me.

Ball was completely average for the amount of money he wasbeing paid.

He did what he had to do, nothing more, nothing less.

I can see Murray being a lot better playing left back, leaving space for a winger.

Plus, 24k a week plus the money freed up from Ross and Khishisvili (or whatever) should be enough to sign a good striker to partner/replace Prso when he need a rest.

I too have anger towards Benfica. They failed to realise the potential of Maniche and left him rotting in their B-team until an angel appeared unto him, and he spake, and the words he spaketh were "Very good". And then Maniche knew he had seen a Special One, and he felt Called to a new task.
