First on the agenda, there will be no talk of Newcastle. Except, of course, the Jenas affair.
Why and where? They have Carrick and Davids in the centre, both of whom are pretty much irreplacable. Reid is good on the left, Routledge on the right. Besides, Jenas can't play there. Tell me why.
Oh, and Solano might be going to Newcastle too. Excellent news, if you ask me.
Keane to Everton? Robbie, that is.

and also:
If they're planning Ramos to become a regular centre back, Diogo still makes good sense.

You think he won't get into the 1st team, but they might be planning for him to become a regular? I'm sure I've got you wrong here.
I don't understand. This is just smacks of another Real big buy for the sake of it. The poor defence that all pundits speak of seems pretty strong to me. Why buy a £18 million right-back when the pressing need is surely a replacement for Robby Carlos. He's, what, 45 by now?
> Or play Helguera in midfield in Gravesen's position.
Why not just play Gravesen there? He's got much more (recent) experience in that role. Although he did come off for Robinho at Cadiz, and the Sky Sports team (including the infallible Guillem Balague) hinted that Gravesen might be dropped altogether in favour of a rather ludicrous 4-2-2-2, which would be:
Back four of whoever
Beckham-Baptista
Raul-Zidane
Ronaldo-Robinho

Maybe they weren't always going to get him? I thought at the time Diogo was a good buy, as Raul Bravo is awful in either left or right back roles, and other no-namers they've got like Mejia just aren't up to it a lot of the time. If they're planning Ramos to become a regular centre back, Diogo still makes good sense.

He's decent, but yes, I think he'll be fourth choice.

If them's the rules, then we'd better wave goodbye to Mr. Joe Cole.
Ramos won't find it easy to get into the first team, certainly not at right back. I imagine it'll be ahead of Helguera for the centre back position if at all. The only reason Ramos was so expensive is that they had to buy out the contract, Sevilla wouldn't agree to anything less.

That's excellent. I especially like Ronaldo, Raul and Mikey just looking utterly bemused after it goes in.
Diogo is probably one of those bargain-bin buys to bulk out the squad a bit.
Just like every single one of Liverpool's signings this summer.
I wonder why they bought Diogo when they were always going to get Sergio Ramos?
Woodgate and Helguera, I'd say. Stick Ramos at right-back, he's too expensive not to play and Salgado is ugly. Sorted.
> Will he play centre-back for Real, do you think?
There'll be stiff competition for the two centre back positions between Ramos, Helguera, Woodgate and Pavon. Although Ramos could play at right back when Salgado's injured or suspended. But then they've also bought Diogo to do that, so who knows?
I know we got Milner on loan, but it's only on loan.
2nd mistake O'leary has done at his time at Villa.
Will he play centre-back for Real, do you think?
And everyone knows Newcastle are a top 1 team. In Lea Liga and the Prem. At the same time.
The awesome goal of his vs Madrid.
