Thought we could do with a place.

First on the agenda, there will be no talk of Newcastle. Except, of course, the Jenas affair.

Why and where? They have Carrick and Davids in the centre, both of whom are pretty much irreplacable. Reid is good on the left, Routledge on the right. Besides, Jenas can't play there. Tell me why.

Oh, and Solano might be going to Newcastle too. Excellent news, if you ask me.

They're right though, aren't they? He kinda did desert the 'pool. He's at a club that'll never do anything now and I suppose he got what was coming to him for trying to play the field.

Owen does not suit Liverpool... Liverpool has quality strikers as it is. Owen is a counter-attacking striker... just doesn't fit.

He said there are clauses, but not one that lets him go after a year.

And Newcastle won't win trophies. Everytime they come close, they bottle it. They've got the talent, but they can't piece it together. Like they've got a jigsaw and just can't be bothered slotting it into position.
