Apart from being against the law, why can't I kill someone?

I'm just interested in the answers.

Well, if everyone could just go around killing everyone else with no consequences, society would fall into complete chaos. You couldn't go around without being paranoid that someone who had some minor gripe with you was going to come and knife you in the throat, which in turn would mean that you would want to pre-emptively get people before they got to you.

By making murder against the law, it keeps society in order.

You're still not answering the question... I mean, why's that bad?

Take away all the stuff you've been programmed to bark out now, think, for yourself, why is it bad to kill someone?

Because your taking people's lives when they would not originally die.

Then why is it against the law?

Tell your teacher their an idiot.

One of the teachers at my school said that there is no law against killing someone.
Whether this is true or not, i would not know.
